Question for you Ireland fans, how can you keep backing somebody that cant put a winning team on the field year after year? How many chances does he get? Everybody needs to quit drinking the JEFF IRELAND and STEVEN ROSS Kool aid. Nothing personal but JEFF IRELAND cant do the job. This will be my last year as a 43 year Miami dolphin fan I have witnessed the highs and the lows and enough is enough unless major changes are made I must support another team. This team has sunk so low that the refs dont even respect us as a viable football team, we have become a joke in the NFL and this organization does not deserve this. So if you fans of the last few years don't agree then keep drinking the Kool AID and your team could be moved to another state when the seats are empty in a once proud football town. It is pretty obvious that MR ROSS cant or wont change things so the only answer is to sell this shell of a team and give it back to the once proud Miami dolphin fans with a new owner.

cant even spell correctly. and you want to bash ireland?

And jeff ireland doesnt play the game or coach it. How the F does he get the blame here?

I have heard that coaches have a different view on the personnell and how they are used right now.

Right now, the real problems of this team are squarely in the coaching/preperation/gameplanning particularly in the fourth quarter.

you can return now to your Ireland bashing now.

Whether I support him or not at this point is irrelevent to the fact of why we are losing.

I squarely put blame on relying on 5 guys to block 6-7-8 guys blitzing in the fourth quarter in shotgun (again) while we were completely dominating them in the run game.

RT gets hit yet again. And Jeff Ireland is to blame.

Look, I am all for getting rid of Jeff Ireland just to make everyone happy and so we can move on from this noise, everyone will just look for the next scapegoat....which is who I just mentioned.

Philbin is in charge of Sherman however, so he is tied in. If we crap the bed rest of way out I say start all over again with a new GM, coach yadda yadda yadda.

But with your logic you would never have a reason to fire a GM, ever. What am I missing?

The current problems are more of a Coaching problem than a Talent problem. That's what you're missing! We've had enough talent to compete in every single last one of our games, except for maybe the New Orleans game. Unfortunately we will never know the true potential in the NO game because we were so badly prepared to play that game.

Well to be fair if Ireland couldnt spell and was a great GM would anyone care lol

Regardless Ireland has to take some blame for this failure of an offensive line he has invested heavily in

My logic is coaching is the problem here and not adjusting.

ireland said when Philbin was hired "I just hope he can coach".

He is basically right.

Am i denying that?

My point is that Ireland is not responsible for setting up max protect using your blocking TE's who were doing quite well in first half thank you very little.

We basically have one lineman worth a damn starting spot so yea the GM has o take blame. He got rid of two high priced linebackers for two high priced linebackers that have not made the defense any better.
The entire draft has been of minimal impact. His 60 million dollar wr is on pace for like 2 tds and about 800 yards. Ireland has built this franchise for half a decade and this is wht we have to show for it.
People have every right to give him his share of the blame

I not placing all blame on him because the players and coaches share the blame. I think its sadly apparent or at least it seems that Philben is nothing special as a coach.
sherman has been pretty bad as our OC . The oline coach should be fired right now. The Dc is solid I dont think he is as good as our previous DC but he has some potential.

This is not a talent issue. Certainly the O-line needs upgrades, but RT was clean for 3 quarters and the running game was averaging close to 5 ypc. Defense held the Pats to under 100 yds of offense in the 1st half. The team outplayed Buffalo the week before.
Poor game management, poor coaching decisions and an inexperienced QB are the main culprits. RT week after week continues to allow game changing (momentum changing) turnovers.
The team is young and does not respond well to adversity, including demoralizing officiating calls. Mental toughness is what is lacking on this team and for that you have to look to coaching, not the GM.

Personally the way its going u can fire the gm fire the coach promote the assistant gm fire the oc, fire the ol coach hire Mike Zimmer as head coach and the build from there.

I was willing to give Ireland a chance given the Parcels influence tainting his start. This most recent draft looks bad at present, and seals his fate IMHO. Mistake after mistake this year it would appear. We got possibly the worst OT in the draft in round 3 with a solid OG left on the board, the Pats draft a CB AFTER we draft 2 CBs that is producing while ours sits, a RB that has a limited upside with Andre Ellington there to be had, etc..... Mistake after mistake. I am done with Ireland.

This is team a failure from top to bottom....

Ireland fails to bring in personnel to fit the teams direction. Look at the jumbled mess....Offense has maybe 4 players that fit the ZBS/WCO; The defense is better suited (player) for a 3-4 defense, yet they run 4-3. Young....defense Clemons 28, Wake 31, Starks 29, Wheeler 28, Patterson 30, Soliai 29, Grimes 30....that's 7 of your starters that are 28 and older....these are guys who are old enough to know how to respond to adversity. How many rookies start on the team? With all those draft picks Ireland acquired, how many are seeing the field? This team is not building into a championship team. IT has no direction, it consistently loses talent, then when they do try to upgrade a position it fails. That's on Ireland.

Coaching is not better....Rex Ryan has less talent to work with then Miami and he is getting the most out of his players, because he knows how to put them into a position to win. Philbin doesn't....he has no fire and it has rubbed off on his player who lack any type of fire. The staff he brought it doesn't seem to know how to develop the young player they do have on the roster and the only coach worth a damn (Kacy Rodgers) is a hold over from the last staff. That's on Philbin.

The players have no fight....that's on them.
