Doubtful...science degree from an Ivy League school > "professional" football guy....sorry...

Ireland's an idiot.

Okay, go back and do that same list from any other NFL team and see how it stacks up. Drafting in the NFL is an inexact science and he's hit well where it counts most, the top of the draft

Ireland is a genius because he somehow manage to keep his job after 3 losing seasons.
It is mind boggling to me how, after he took over our front office, he actually made the Dolphins worse and there are still people making excuses for him.

Just accept it. He may rub players and agents the wrong way but he is no dummy. He knows his job and he is not going to overpay for garbage just to make alot of arm chair dolphin gm's happy. I trust in his ability to deliver the RIGHT QB at the RIGHT price. The season doesn't start for another 6 months.

True Ireland is so awesome at his job we have had three straight losing seasons

It is obvious that you have not been following the dolphins for long.

Matt Millen>Jeff Ireland.

Worst GM in football history

I am trying to figure out which great QB we could have had and did not get when Ireland was calling the shots, not Bill Parcells.

Kevin Kolb?
Kyle Orton?
Tim Tebow?

I think its silly to say that Ireland had no say in signing a qb , he came here so he would have some personnel power , i mean if he wanted to be a puppet why not stay in Dallas.
And from all accounts he wanted to trade for Orton but Ross vetoed

It has been documented that Parcells was responsible for Henne and Pat White. I am not sure about the Orton trade but I was looking for suggestions on which QB is the last 2 years he should have drafted or signed and didn't?

there is no documentation that Ireland had no say in these picks.
