It sounds good, and looks good on paper, but the Giants proved that he was a distraction to Eli and the rest of the offense. He would be the same way towards Beck. So I say thanks, but no thanks.

Thats what I was thinking. IMO, there is absolutely no chance Parcells would trade for Shockey.

Shockey denied saying it afterwards, although its clear he really did.

Shockey is good but not great. He has been hurt every season why would we invest a draft pick in a guy that is always hurt and a cancer in the locker room. Besides i would rather have Boss instead of Shockey and he was a 4th rd pick maybe we can draft someone good for once.

I don't know if I would dish out our 2nd, 2nd rounder which is what's rumored it would take to obtain him.

I think this regime is past trading high picks for players. They are not going to repeat the same mistakes as the previous regime. Especially when a 2nd round pick could snag a top tier WR which this team needs more IMO.
