Practice squads are now 8 players not 5.....that's why many teams took players in late rds that are true projects.

I thought I read somewhere that they were 10 people PS now?

I still can't believe I missed the fact that they expanded them at all, when was the decision made? I think it is great, now only if those meatheads would allow teams to dress 53 players instead of 45.....geesh....

You are forgetting Reggie Howard, the Corner we just signed to a 21 million Dollar deal.

Sammy Knight, Reggie Howard, Wale, all great defensive players that were undrafted, on our team alone. Some UDFA have more passion and will, and they are able to overcome why they weren't drafted.

You need a certain number of players making the minimum for salary cap purposes. I can promise you some of the late picks/UDFA will make the team. They have to.
