What a great career and a great guy. He will always be the best reciever I saw play through the 80's and early 90's. A class guy who will definitely be a first ballot hall of famer.

In my opinion, Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith were great players, but they went out like bums. Retire when it is time to retire. Don't go elsewhere and look like a bum. That is why I respect Dan Marino more than the two of them even though he did not get a superbowl ring.

I don't think it really matters what team is a member of when he retires. Isn't it symbolic only, when a player goes back and re-signs with his original team only to retire as a member?
