The kid has no hands...fast, big and no hands is great if he was a LB, WR not so much......put it this way Clyde Gates has better hands than this kid.....we just cut Bimms who is twice the player of this kid....why would we even consider this?

As a Jet fan you should have been calling for his out right release last yr after the Pats game in foxboro...dont know who upset me more him or Gates with the drops...Yall had that game but no one would help Geno out.....the kid can't catch period....

Who is the last rookie who has actually developed under the jets coaching staff?
Seriously, jets are such a lack for talent right now, we better sweep them. Since Rex showed up its just been bad draft after bad draft, with very little, if any development of its young players.

He has hurt us more than helped us no doubt but I don't give up on young players easily.

You guys do know you don't have to cut a wr just because you bring another player in to look at? You bring him in and if he's better than Williams than you release Williams and keep Hill. If Williams is better you simply release Hill. It's not rocket science.
I remember when everybody on the board wanted him and was furious the Jets took him. I was kind of iffy on him before the third. Yeah he was hampered in the Triple Option of Georgia Tech but he wasn't the physical specimen Demariyus Thomas was before him.
My honest opinion is that if he goes or went somewhere where he wasn't needed to be a first or 2nd option he could have become something eventually. BUT injuries and being insanely raw as a WR killed him.
Personally don't think he's a great fit for us right now, nor do I think we can justify cutting Rishard Matthews or Damian Williams who have had great camps and preseasons of their own.

You better stop that running game if you plan on sweeping them...I'd feel better about it if I believed the lbs won't be sore spots
we are poor also against the screen game again because of the lbs and they are gonna have that qb taking off with the ball

Wheeler will get numbers they will just be ugly ones like they always have been...as for Mitchell I think he will get blown out vs double teams on the dts that are sure to come our way this year...and teams can line up in base and run the ball right at us...
I don't think Mitchell's any more strong at the poa than any other dt we have...

Don't tell me you must of developed some players, go ahead and name them. I see a few good DTs, outside of that who have you drafted that's really good or have developed well? Since Rex has been there your drafts are completely forgettable, his best years in NY were built on free agency, where the young talent?
No doubt you guys have overproduced considering how lack of talent your roster is. I won't dent that, but those days are probably up, you can only do that for so long.

They have some great run game I didn't know about? Yeah our linebackers aren't where we want them but they should be able to handle a limited jets offense just fine.
If we all have to worry about is Chris Johnson, I'm perfectly fine with that.
just b/c guys aren't here doesn't mean they didn't help us win. we have drafted well enough to only have one losing season under rex w/ 2 PO apps and 2 title games apps. you guys would kill for that.

Ellis
Powell
Kerley
Allen
Davis
we had guys who are now gone that were key contributors- $anchez, Greene, Slauson,
others from last year that got better late in the year like geno and Milliner.
