What mistakes is he making? The only one i can think of is not getting Revis back. I think he has done a decent job.

If the coaching staff decides to keep a sixth receiver it will be someone that can help on ST like Thigpen or Marlon Moore. I don't see them interested in an offense only player with questionable hands.
I would add letting Cromatie leave and only bring in a often injured Patterson to fill the gap, but overall I think you are right. The Jets have done well in the front office since firing Tannibaum.

Patterson was a great signing if the dude can somehow stay healthy.
Which he has not been his entire career. Loved watching him play for us though, dude was a playmaker

cant afford to pay a player 1 million dollars a game though.
That's all ancient history.
In the Jets 3 most recent seasons, they have not had a winning season, haven't sniffed the playoffs and have an overall losing record.
Not sure any fan would "kill" for results like that.

Wilkerson is a top 3-4 DE in this league, Richardson reigning ROY, if you don't think Harrison is good you haven't watched him. some of the others are starters/key contributors. every player doesn't have to be a superstar.
Under tannenbaum he liked to trdae picks so we didn't have a million picks but we got a bunch of key contributors to the title game teams.
clearly we haven't been as great at drafting as Miami, obviously you guys have been loaded for years but unfortunately the refs and league conspire to keep you below us every year and out of the playoffs.
since '08 there has only been 1 sweep(and you guys needed 3 non offensive TDs to beat us). the teams have matched up well w/ each other for years, I think it's safe to assume we'll split but you never know.
yep, he has significant;y upgraded the roster from last year top this year and we have a ton of cap room. terrible job
I don't think he made a mistake there, I think it was the owner forcing his hand. I think his mistake was not bringing Cro back. Cro sucked last year but he wasn't healthy all year. I had no problem not overpaying the other corners on the market.
still only 1 losing season despite rebuilding after the '11 season.
I crack up at people just bashing certain players as if they could never be a good player in the right situation. as if we have never seen a player fail for one team then thrive somewhere else- you know like a Cam Wake type.m I am not saying Hill will ever be a good player but it would make sense for any team to take a look at him, there would be no risk in it at all.
Who would've thought Stephen Hill would produce a 60+ post thread in less than a day.

How is it possible for you to have such a hard time staying on topic?
I never said Wilkerson or Richardson were bad, I clearly mentioned them as the only two big pickups in the draft you've had, both were NFL ready, neither needed development at the NFL level.
The rest of the drafts since Rex has been in ny are among worst in the NFL.
You have drafted no one worth mentioning outside the two stud DTs.
No one said Rex couldn't coach, I've said multiple times he is a heck of a coach and has clearly outproduced the awful talentless roster your front office has given him.
You need to be honest with where your team is though, your a talentless team that hasn't developed young players and has relied on free agency and great head coaching to maintain a decent record.
This is he year it probably all comes crumbling down. Picking up old dudes like Vick and Johnson, bums like zack sudfeld, heck Clyde Gates is still on your roster! all signs of a team that consistently has drafted bad. Good luck with dmitri Patterson though...

Vick is our backup, one of the best backups in the league. light years ahead of your backup.
Chris Johnson has played 6 years and is turning 29 next month, Knowshon Moreno has played 5 years an dis 27 but that was a great pickup while Johnson sucks? Johnson's worst year he had more yards than Moreno in his best.
Gates is going to be cut, Sudfeld is our 3rd TE and looks pretty good.

Obviously, clearly we don't develop players the way the dolphins do. Miami is the envy of the league.
