so you want mid rd picks to come in and catch 50 balls this season? is kerley not good enough for you? saunders will contribute, Evans is on IR and Enunwa will be on the PS. Is Matt Hazel going to contribute for you this year?

Salas isn't bad.

rex usually gets more out of the guys that played in Miami than what they did in Miami.

at least mark's goof was in a meaningless game, he didn't lead his team to 7 pts total in the 2 biggest games of his career.

Lmao when did kerley become so good? He had 43 catches last year, dude is average, please sTop with is kerley nonsense.

And again I asked you a question. Do you expect any of the 3 WRs you draftEd to produce more than 10 catches? I doubt it. In the best WR draft in years, you guys drafted 3 guys no one has ever heard of.

I bet our UDFA's this year, outproduce your rookie class. Which says a lot considering you had 12 freaking draft picks, and outside of Pryor none of them are doing jack **** in camp. Besides Pryor are ay of them even going to see the field?

And you saying salas isn't bad... SMH your desperate..

"At least".. what a kindergarten response.... I know you are but what am I? It was more than a goof, it was amazing.

They have one of the worst core of receivers in the NFL.

he missed a qtr of the season and had a rookie QB throwing to him that wasn't ready to play.

12 games w/ Kerley: 8-4 record. geno 12 TDs, 12 INTs
4 games w/o Kerley: 0-4 record. Geno 0 TDs, 9 INTs

but he only had 43 recs so he mist have sucked.

I answered about the 3 WRs we drafte din the middle-late rounds. 1 is on IR and out for the year, one will be on PS and one will contribute assuming he stays healthy. will your 6th rd pick contribute?

the rookies haven't played a single game yet.

They have one of the worst core of receivers in the NFL.

You should pick up another hobby b/c you don't have a clue what you are watching. the last 2 years we had some of the worst skill players and worst WRs, that has been significantly upgraded w/ FA and the draft and our QB can actually get the ball downfield- can yours?

You feel that your list of receivers, Decker, Kerley, Nelson, Gates,, Salas and whatever trash you have lining up is worth anything? HA... Not even worthy of a response. Dont be mad son, they are some of the worst receiving cores in the league.

You mean your QB who threw 21 INT's last year? Of course its well known RT is much better than GS. Every team in the league would take ours before yours. As for your crafty group of garbage recievers, In 2013 Jets ranked 22nd in receiving yards. Conversely Miami was 15th - Try again. Decker a 1st.. Laughable.

decker and kerley are the only 2 wrs that the jets have that are really worth anything...i doubt nelson would crack our top 5 and kerley probably wouldn't break our slot rotation...but those are the 2...nelsons been hurt a lot lately but he'd be a 6th wr type on our team

the tight end amaro is a talent and he's learning to play in an nfl offense...that's someone to watch...more dynamic than cumberland the starter...the jets would be wise to use a lot of 2 tight end sets to get those 2 on the field...decker would be a #2 wr on just about any team in the league...he's not a #1

with the way the jets are gonna run the ball i'd expect a ton of 2 tight end sets and working off pa out of them...

gates and salas are garbage...easy cuts on any team with anything at wr depth wise

do I think it is as good as the group in Miami? No but I feel we have middle of the pack weapons which is a HUGE upgrade from possibly the worst in the league.

Ryan didn't look better in week 17 in the biggest game of his life.

In 2013 Miami threw the ball 594 times, the Jets 480. despite our passing woes we had more yards per attempt.

Decker caught 8 TDs from a combo of Tim tebow and Kyle Orton, Mike Wallace caught 5 from Ryan the great.

I hope gates is released but Salas is not bad. He's a good guy to fill out a group.

don't forget Sudfeld. HUGE target, we will run a lot of 2 TE sets. we have 3 TEs that can catch. The WR group isn't great but it's lightyears ahead of where we have been since 2010.

Nelson is healthy, he is a quality guy. 3rd or 4th WR on many teams. You guys have a deep group, no great WRs but a a bunch of really good ones. had a really good group last year too. Miami did a great job upgrading the WRs after Ryan's rookie year.

Are you bragging about a guy who was cut twice last year?

sudfeld is an hback type and he can make plays off scheme driven production primarily...he's just soft...but he's a pro...the jets got 6 pros on that wr tight end group but most of them are tail end on of the depth chart guys like talent...even kerley seems to have plateaued as a slot into a pretty average player after starting out hot his rookie season...kerleys solid though

if i had to rank it by what i think future impact is it's amaro, decker, cumberland, kerley, sudfeld, nelson

you better watch sudfeld in the red zone...cause they are looking for him...if you roll coverage to eric decker he will never do a damn thing

nelsons not a #3 on many teams and salas is run of the mill in just about every way...i wouldn't want salas active on game day and running routes for me...he's polished but meh in just about everything he does and has no upside

they'll use cumberland more in line and sneak him out off pa flex amaro and sudfeld will work off pa etc out of the back field or flexed...i'm more worried about the tight ends than i am the wrs...they are gonna run the ball effective enough that damage will be done off pa down the seam etc and they will work well run and pass out of 2 tight end sets which should be the bread and butter

No offense, but what are talking about?

On the patriots sudfeld didn't do anything and was cut, and he ended up in ny where he absolutely destroyed the competition with a total of 63 yards and 0 TDs for the entire season.

WTF are we talking about this guy for? Freaking Michael Egnew has had a more successful career this far.

Omg jets got sudfeld! Lmao...

you know Cam Wake was cut multiple times, right?

Aside from doing better with a worse-ranked OL than buttfumble's in '12, the fact that Geno had more success @ 8-4 with Kerley is another way he's superior to buttfumble who looks to be 10-16 when Kerley played.

And in terms of looking bad, let's not forget that aside from blowing the final 3 games in '11, even in '12, buttfumble and the jets, after beating Jacksonville to go 6-7 and take a possible run at the playoffs with a potential 9-7 finish, faced 3 losing teams with a cumulative record of 14-37, losing to all 3 ( altho McElroy lost one of those) so that's on Rex too. So in 2 games against losing teams buttfumble put up a 36.2QBR, 47% completion rate, 1 TD and 5 ints.. while putting up 10pts vs TN and 9 vs Buffalo. And that's with PFF's 3rd rated OL and Football Outsiders' 16th and a lot of "Kerley". (kinda makes his '11 swandive with a \60QBR, 56% completion rate and 5 TDs to 7 Ints look "clutch" eh?)

So in their final 6 games all against losing teams at the time they faced them in '11 and '12 with chances to secure playoff spots, rex and the jets are 0-6 and buttfumble is 0-5.
