It was the right call, but yeah, refs are definitely giving a helping hand to the home team.

Phillips has like one play like that a game (fortunately at key moments I'll give him credit) and the tape always shows he was in position to make a few more plays and fails to finish. When I think of tenacity I don't think of missing opportunities.

You must never had watched Wilson at Ohio State. He catches the ball in traffic better than anyone except maybe Jerry Rice. He caught numerous contested balls at least once a game. He had a catch in the snow that I doubt any receiver would have caught.

I would have to admit I’ve never watched him play until now.
