Its doesnt matter because there is no way at all Manning would have EVER played for the Jets, no matter how much they offered him.. Manning has way more class and intellegence to do that.

I agree though, who knows if the Jets offered a contract or not. He isn't a gimmick/role player like Tebow will be, but when Sanchez struggles, and he will, Garrard would have been a better option to start than Tebow.
The bigger point is that Garrard was drawing interest from at least six teams during the offseason before Miami signed him. The perception was out there that Miami signed him when no other team was interested.
Trade you Tebow for Garrard straight up, i cant stand Tebow on the Jets.
They didn't go after Peyton manning, every move made this offseason(including Tebow) was made to make Sanchez better.
We didn't start out throwing 40x a game, we fell behind early in some games and had to throw to try to catch up. Don't confuse the two.
I ask this again, if we were going hard after manning why would we hire Tony Sparano as our OC?
Of course, he's all class and we have none. It's too bad we weren't like Miami and had their class- you know one of the leading team for arrested players, a GM that asks potential draftees if their mom is a prostitute, "celebrity" owners that wet themselves on stage, etc... That's class!
They called him as soon as he was released

Jets fans (not really including you, you seem alright) are some of the least classy fans in the NFL, possibly in all of sports (do I have to bring up gate D, or the Jets fan (adult, although doesnt adt like one) that pushed a 6 year old kid because he was wearing a Browns jersey in 2010 at the Browns game - effing coward!). And I dont want to hear this goes on at every NFL game, because even if it does, I dont care because the Jets got all the press from it.

Yes they did, and he excluded them immediately.
did they ever meet w/ him? try to meet w/ him? offer him a contract? No, EVERY move made this offseason was w/ sanchez in mind.
Yep, once the franchise being unclassy is debunked move on to the fans. There are idiot fans in every Stadium.
Believe what you want but this is the typical perception from most NFL fans not named Jets fans.
They called him as soon as he was released
What team didn't besides the ones with legendary future HOF'ers already? LOL
Jacksonville, Tampa, Buffalo, Minnesota, St. Louis, Dallas, Houston,.... I could probably name at least ten more than didnt call him who also do not have legendary future HOF'ers.

I try my bestGood to know you were holding the phones down at those franchises.
That's why we have a better current franchise than those teams, our GM leaves no stone unturned trying to make the team better. he also called jamarcus Russell a few years back after he got released by oak, did that mean he was bringing him in to replace mark?
I try my best

But when our GM leaves no stones unturned its a circus
