Good point. He should be thrown in the wood chipper too. By all accounts though he and Tannehill are close so I don't see it happening. Philbin is not going to fire anyone -- probably ever -- unless Steve Ross directly orders him to. And I'm willing to bet Ross doesn't even know who Zac Taylor is. He sees him in the hall and probably thinks he's an intern.
How the hell is that the same? Harbaugh wasn't looked at for an assistant role, Benton was. Benton was promoted since Turner is fired so again you're talking **** for no reason.

It's amazing that a near all-time worst statistical effort from his unit didn't get him fired, but bullying will. Maybe the staff was just waiting on the report to add further ammo or the smoking gun, but it still doesn't instill confidence in the organization for me.

You are comparing Ross seeking Harbaugh to Benton getting promoted. Something I did not compare. I compared Ross trying to hire harbaugh while still employing the meatball to Philbin hiring Benton while still employing Turner. Ross gets bashed for that by 100% of the ppl on this board, however the same ppl who bash Ross for doing that to The meatball applaud Philbin for doing the same thing to Turner.. Although I am glad Ross fired Turner (as Philbin didnt have the balls to), clearly it is hypocritical.
