Jim Turner fired

Word is Jim Turner was visiting his mother in the nursing home when the Dolphins called to fire him. Heard the Dolphins made him put the call on speaker phone so everyone in the nursing home could hear them fire him. Then Philbin snuck up behind Turner and pantsed him.

And Aponte bukkake'd him afterwards

This was needed amid the Wells Report.

Martin is still a snake. Maybe if Martin had the social skills to discuss the matters bothering him, the two men fired tonight would not be worried about their next pay check for their families.
Come on Hayden, don't do this. Yes Martin is way too thin-skinned to play in the NFL. But Incognito, Jerry, Pouncey and Kevin O'neil are grown men. They are responsible for their actions. Which also makes them resposible for their own demise.

Proven wrong. Good to see the Dolphins aren't as delusional as I thought to keep Turner after all this.

You are comparing Ross seeking Harbaugh to Benton getting promoted. Something I did not compare. I compared Ross trying to hire harbaugh while still employing the meatball to Philbin hiring Benton while still employing Turner. Ross gets bashed for that by 100% of the ppl on this board, however the same ppl who bash Ross for doing that to The meatball applaud Philbin for doing the same thing to Turner.. Although I am glad Ross fired Turner (as Philbin didnt have the balls to), clearly it is hypocritical.

Oh, I see... Youre referring to the coach-speak. Perhaps im just too intellectual, but Id rather something with a little more substance. Sorry if you disagree.

Your first point is a fail because again, Benton wasn't initially hired as the actual OL coach. The whole Harbaugh situation occurred bc Ross wanted him to be the head coach. The two situations aren't the same.

You complain Philbin doesn't say anything and then when he does you just chalk it up to coach speak. Do you see any semblance of being unfair with that mindset?

They should of fired philbin and coyle. Coyle is not good as a dc, but as a secondary coach he's great. I believe they should of cleaned house. Philbin is not a good head coach. Don't expect too much next season.

Expected and appreciated. Benton is about as great an option for OL coach as we could have possibly hoped to get. Between him and Lazor I think we hit the jackpot with coaches joining the staff. Now nuke the starting OL, bring in 5 new starters and build a team that is pass-first but can also run the ball. We are fortunate in that we have a need (ZBS OL) that matches up with a strength at the top and in depth at the draft (lots of OT's), and the crucial LT position has more realistically available exceptional players in FA (Monroe, Albert, Collins, etc.) than we could imagine, and another possible area of need, C, has a strong young pro-bowler available (Mack).

It's time to rebuild the OL. Lazor also likes tall TE's ... but I doubt we fill that hole this year.

good riddance any line coach that has a line that gives up 58 sacks should be unemployed

You are fooling yourself if you think Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey's behavior was only happening in Miami. It is actually typical of every locker room in the NFL.

If Jon Martin advocated for himself, perhaps we would be spared on this carnage. These people thought they were joking around and in Pouncey's case he is going to lose money and be suspended over PRIVATE text messages.

It is disgusting actually and I will not be convinced otherwise.

Give Philbin and Pouncey a game suspension and a fine each and let's move on...

Jim Turner looks like he'd make fun of you if you mess up.

John Benton looks like he'd kill you if you mess up. Our line will improve.
