Actually, he used that same tactic at both Dallas and UM. If there was a highly marketed player on the opposing team he usually mocked them. Sometimes before the game and sometimes after when they won. (I used to play with Michael Irvin in high school. We talked a few times when he was at Miami and then at Dallas.)

It didn't work for the fins did it?

Classless, well I believe some of you Bills fans stab a dolphin and have ketchup oozing from the knife wound. Then shake them and hang them from hooks! That however is CLASS!

The flakes were Doug "FLUTIE FLAKES" not AUTISIM FLAKE and Doug made money on it too. The flakes were ripped open and flung all over. It was meaningless and hurt nobody, it actually shined more light on autisim and the foundation than ever before.

Dan would have looked MUCH better had Jonhson not taken away his right to call audibles. Even with crappy talent, Marino would have played 5 times better. His ability to read defenses would have made up for his short comings that were a result of his age, knees, and ankle.
AS for Johnson being quiet: there is nothing he could say in retaliation. Shula is right. Johnson's arrogance was much bigger than his coaching ability and he handcuffed the greatest QB in history to prove his way was the right way. We all saw how right Jimmy was. :shakeno:

We deal with being called "TUNA" and "FISH" w/ guys doing perverse things to stuffed dolphins that proceeds may go to a save the dolphin foundation or a marine research or save the ocean fund. I mean this is petty by all of you fans.

Have you ever heard these guys(Athletes) in a locker room or in a "GUY" setting. They do act like highschoolers at times. It is a testosterone thing. That is why guys bang their heads, slap butts', scream, yell, hit things and even listen to music about giving them something to break. Get over it, it was meaningless and most of the fans' here have forgot about it, but I guess we are 1 up on you, if that get's your goat.

Marino disliked JJ b/c he handcuffed Marino and the team into rebuiling and running w/o a rb. Being to conservative. Giving Marino no chance of winning a ring! Not b/c Flutie Flakes were wasted. Afterall there are kid starving in Africa!!!!

People apologize for offending others all the time even when they don't think what they did is wrong. And I'm putting no spin on it. All I did was point out that what you said about him not doing this in the past was wrong. I read the whole thread and post as I read!!! Why? B/c guys like " Bills' fans" come in and turn it into a Losman is better than AJ/Gus or Moulds is better than CC, when the orig thread is CC will put up big #s'.

Ah, it's considered a whine because a bills fan said it. But when a finfan points out a different example about his lack of class it's not whining. All I did was state another example, but since I'm a bills fan, it's taken differently. Go figure :shakeno:
