Jimmy Johnson...a class act

Come on you would care!!!

Levy would get a hernia, and we do not want the old guy to hurt himself!

We care!!!
Ooh, turning it into smack. Sorry, I'll try not to get your panties all bunched up by adding to the subject of the thread. :D

No, it was a retaliation on the fans for mooning him. He did it back after he humiliated the Pack. Just showing that I can hate a player(Moss) or team (Bills) and still see things clearly.
I don't believe you :D

That is why you stray from the thread! You believe nothing! Well you do however believe this site is far superrior to the Bills' site! Or you would bethere rather than here!

JJ was classy!

Ricky is Back!!
Had to jab a Bills fan! You know they hate it! I do believe that!!

With Don Shula still lashing out at his successor 5 years after the fact, saying that Marino "only had one coach" and such, I'm glad that Jimmy is taking the high road with this. He could easily counter with some verbage of his own, maybe even pointing to Marino's inconsistency during the last couple of years, but that would take some of the spotlight off Danny and his HOF induction...and he knows it. For that, I am thanking Jimmy Johnson.

Now were the inconsistencies due to an impotent offensive coordinator and collection of scrubs for surrounding "talent"? Most definitely, but still he chooses to remain silent and let Dan enjoy his moment. I'm drinking a green lizard in your honor, coach.

Actions speak louder than words. JJ treated Landry and Shula rather dismissively. Both of those coaches left a lasting legacy in NFL history that JJ will never come close to.

Jimmy was an egomaniacal helmet-haired bag of wind who couldn't stand the fact that there was someone in Miami that overshadowed him.........Dan Marino. Jimmy was far from a class act and if you had the misfortune of seeing him in Dallas, you would have known it before he even came to the Phins. No, TWO class acts were replaced by that jerk.....Tom Landry and Don Shula. It's a shame to see two legends get shafted to make room for such a jerk. The truth is that it was DON who showed great class by not making waves upon his replacement. Landry refused have his name put into the Cowboys ring of honor for his treatment in the matter. Yeah, if Jimmy hadn't tied Marino's hands during his short tenure, Danny wouldn't have finished so miserably. Of course, what can you expect with a egomaniac whose gameplan is run, run, now it's 3rd and long so now it's up to Danny to bail me out, punt. Johnson was and is overrated. Had he not had Walker to swindle the Vikes for all of their picks, he wouldn't have done jack in Dallas either.

Bottom line....Jimmy is a jerk and a chapter in Phins history that needs to be ripped out and burned. I would say that Dave's chapter needs to burned as well, but no one can read it due to all of the crayon marks anyway.

Stop whining!!!!! GET OVER IT!!!!!

Oh wait. you're a finfan. I doesn't apply . My bad.

Check the foundation's site. It says on the first page that "Half of Flutie's proceeds go to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autsim"

That is Flutie's proceeds' not PLB's

Hey, I was a H. Walker fan.(My childhood idol/ I grew up in Ga. when he was in college) So I had to see the prick trade my fav player to the hated Vikes along w/ having chased off the classiest coach ever in Landry and then the next guy in that line out of the game. I do not like JJ much, but he was a class act w/ an attitude that rubbed many(myself included)the wrong way!

B/C he is a Bills fan! We have the right to say what we would like, to the rival on our turf!

It doesn't quite say that Flutie himself made money like you insinuated. Maybe the Foundation amde $$$. In case you missed it, that was the point of the Flakes in the first place.

He made $$$ off them, although it was minimal. I thought I heard he got a one time payment for the deal. It may have been payment for running the Flutie foundation or something.

He and his wife helped raise $2mill for the "Giving Back Fund" and then later wanted the funds back to set up their own charitable operation. Why? The funds were donated and raised for the Giving Back foundation and not given in mistake. Why get the funds back? B/C charities pay the operators very well.(see the united way)

Well, why do the words "BITE ME" come to mind when reading your whitty reply?
Don't get pissed at me, I was just relaying what another finfan implied that we are whining about JJ. Then I realized it only applies to certain posters. :goof:
