Jimmy Johnson blasts Dolphins on Radio

Same as last year. 1300 yards and a running game that could open up a passing game.
Yeap and a unheard of rate of 400 carries for the 3rd year in a row.

A Female that likes the Dolphins and Fishing, for Dolphin. Niceeeee

Sad thing is he makes solid points.
Here
Sadder still is I can agree with him. Never thought that would happen.

However, like one poster said, DW is here b/c of JJ. Huizenga didn't have the nerve to pick his own coach so the fans (and our favorite team) got stuck with good ole DW. Thanks JJ. Not.

I'll tell you one thing....We messed up when we picked JJ's successor (well not US..Wayne) but now when we get rid of this dead weight Wannstedt, Wayne had better take his time and really find the right guy for this job. A quality coach who is totally in tune with "today's nfl" and knows how to work with what he has as well as being Offensive-minded. THe Pat's offensive coordinator...What's his name? AH, screw it....Even the Pats DEfensive coordinator.

JJ did more to hurt us, than to help us, IMO. I never thought Shula should have left. The Fins are a less respectable team since he left.

concerning the 2 first rounders we gave N.O. for Ricky.

How much better is N.O. bc of those picks?

Jimmy Johson has some nerve even talking about the dolphins . He is one of the reasons that they are in shape there in.He talks about their going to hit rock bottom,#### they are at rock bottom, couldnt get any worse (ARE COULD IT )

Very, Very Weird

Phinsdude & HolliFinFan vbmenu_register("postmenu_671303", true); touched on it.

But as I listed to Lebartard's radio show, I knew something was strange. Jimmy sounded really weird. He nearly cried when talking about his UM days.

But that's not the strangest part.

He WASN'T fishing. Why would he say that he was. It makes no sense.

But no way in hell was he 15 miles off shore in Islamorada yesterday. And if he was out in 8-10 foot seas he would be ho-hum on his cell phone. And he lied about catching a fish. Said 'hold on' let me reel it in. Then they asked what he had caught. 'Oh cobia or dolphin'.

I know it isn't important at all. But why in the hell would he LIE about being out 15 miles at sea.

with the money that guy has he may have fish in a pool is his back yard.

But he kept saying on the show he was 15 offshore. Doesn't make sense.

I sent Lebartard an email (he emails me back nowadays after ripping into him) asking
him for any insight.

I'll figure this out.

Anyone here that was 15 off Islamorada yesterday??

- I guess to many Heinekins makes him cry? The Dolphins make me cry. Heinekins give me gas.:couch2:

here's my chance to blast jj, remember when jj was in big D and they got the gift of that ridiculous trade involving Herschel Walker. JJ suddenly got 5 active players, and 23 draft picks to work with. This was a huge advantage that no other team had. JJ was successful, but I believe that alot of coaches could have done the same thing. JJ then comes to miami, saying his dream is to bring the championship back home to miami. JJ then runs like a coward after the Jacksonville loss. JJ stay on you're yacht and just shut up!!

boy it sure is easy to jump on the bandwagon now. Jimmy is a quitter just like RW.

I was not on this Board at the time but I did say that 2 1sts is way to much. I was actually hoping that year that MIA would have traded for W. Roaf from NO rather Ricky. From what I could find Rickey was the most expensive RB in recent history in terms of draft picks by a long shot. We didnt know it at the time obviously...... but the next closest is the recent trade for Portis which was in essence a 1st and mid 2nd. Further, if anything we have learned from recent history is that SB teams do not need RB's that were drafted high in the draft to be successful. Good rb's can be found throughout the draft so spending 2 mid first rounders was way to high. If you remember at the time JAX was offering F Taylor for a first and third. DW biggest fault throughout his years as head personnell guy was that he as put his emphasis in the draft on low priority positions ie Special Team guys, nickle CB's, and LB's ( who in MIA scheme are much less important than DL )etc while ignoring positions like QB and OLT which are probably the two most important positions on team.
