Jimmy Wilson will be Miami's third safety. He's also in a contract year

I saw an interview Delmas had on Finsiders and he seems like a real jack off. He said with him and Finnegan we should expect lots of penalties due to their style of play. Maybe he's just being honest but I didn't like that answer. i don't think Philbin will either.

We are well on our way to having that team of high character, Philbin and Hickey speak of, smdh.

Disappointing. Guy is below average. When players like him are on your roster you are a bad team

Jimmy Wilson at safety...Southbeach you were wrong again!

Not sure what you're talking about here. Maybe you can fill me in?

Southbeach is still a lot more accurate than Jason LaCanfora.

Thanks, I think? LOL

I saw the interview and didn't really have a problem with it. Both are very physical players, so are Grimes and Jones for that matter. I'm not condoning cheap shots or trying to injure someone, but if it takes an occasional flag to make receivers tentative going across the middle, I'm all for it.

Like I said.... He'll be starting free safety by week 6... Such a bad move not to sign Clemons back

This is the exact philosophy incorporated by the Seahawks. Their corners and safeties are always pushing the boundaries of the holding/pass interference rules. The refs are not going to call it on every play so they just take their chances when it will or won't be called. I like the fact the back end of our defense is getting more physical.

:bobdole: on not bringing back Clemons for less than $1 a year. Delmas,Jones, Clemons would of been way solid safety position.

It will surprise many of you but Jimmy Wilson and Chris Clemons were like the QBs of the Defensive Backs and Jimmy called the shots when he came in and played the slot. Jimmy is supposed to be the best at reading the Offense and telling the players where to go. While Grimes is by far our best CB, he is not the best at reading the Offense.
It is very interesting that they have announced that Jimmy will not be in the slot and will be playing Safety. I think that this probably means that Coyle is gearing up to play Jamar Taylor as the 2nd CB with Finnegan playing Nickel and maybe they have Davis earmarked for the slot to make his interceptions. The other players that we shouldn't forget about are Michael Thomas and former Michigan wolverine captain, Jordan Kovacs who is small but an excellent tackler and good on Special Teams. Kovacs is probably the highest character guy on the whole team and Stephen Ross knows it.
