Joe Philbin Regrests Distraction, Still Does Not Name Starting QB for Sunday

What the ****?

That makes things better. Terrible coach.

To all the Philbin defenders...

Do you realize there has been at least one embarassing controversy or situation in every year this man has been coach, many of them either created or exacerbated by his inept leadership?

He is a bumbling goof without a pulse. He has very low Social IQ, he doesn't communicate with people well or read social situations very well. He bungled the Martin situation, and here he is bungling another issue dealing with the players.

RT is a borderine bust! He is a Mike Sherman product get rid of him.

Well to be fair, the Chad Johnson thing in year one wasn't his fault.

While the situation itself wasn't his fault, his handling of it was still bungled. He has several players on the team come up to him on Hard Knocks to confront him on the topic and request more involvement from the players, thus the leadership council was born, begrudgingly. He couldn't even look the man in the eyes when speaking to him.

And then after the season, Philbin couldn't handle anyone with an ounce of leadership in them on the team, gutting the team of all established leaders and creating a leadership vacuum which was partially to blame for the Martin fiasco. He is simply an awful, awful leader.

Skape, win or lose this weekend, I think Joe Philbin ought to be shown the door. He's bungled too many things, and I'll be honest with you, this whole QB controversy wasn't even the last straw for me.

You know when I really turned on Joe? When I read in training camp that Bill Lazor was working overtime trying to fix Ryan Tannehill's footwork. If Ryan Tannehill turns out to be a bust, we'll never know if it was because the guy just didn't have the ability or if it was because he was BEING COACHED BY MIKE SHERMAN'S UNQUALIFIED SON-IN-LAW who played QB at freaking NEBRASKA. You know what kind of offense they run at Nebraska?

Joe's staff = Joe's responsibility. It's pitiful. It's infuriating. And I have no faith that Steve Ross is going to get it right.

Look I'm sick of reading about how Philbin won't commit to a quarterback.

HE NEVER SAID HE DIDNT KNOW WHO HE WAS STARTING!!

He just said that they write down the starter every week and they start the best guy.

if a reporter asked bill belichick "have you decided who would be the starting quarterback this week?" and he answered the same way this wouldn't even be news.

Joe Philbin said one of the reason's he wanted Lazor was to work with the QB. How can you lose respect for him over the fact that the guy he hired is doing one of the specific things he hired him for?

That logic seems bass ackwards to me.

As I've said- I haven't hated a coach this much since Wannschmuck. Philbin is a gutless, sackless ****ing loser who coaches scared. If it were up to me, I would've fired him in the locker room at halftime in Buffalo, after I went upside his goofy bald head with a ****ing tire iron.

... the fact that he waited 2 years to get someone qualified to work with his rookie QB who was such a project coming out that everyone here assumed he would sit year one?

If Zac Taylor isn't qualified to coach Ryan Tannehill and teach him proper footwork, why the **** did Joe Philbin hire Zac Taylor to be his QB coach 2+ years ago?
