I doubt it. Even at veteran minimum longsnappers rarely last this long because teams don't want to pay them the veteran minimum at that many years of service. Often, there's no way to offer him less. Not sure with Denny, but that's often the case.

John Denney is a vested veteran (has been for a loooong time) so he will not be placed on waivers. If he agrees not to go elsewhere, Dolphins can temporarily claim young player they’re interested in and use his roster spot. And then cut someone else and re-sign Denney.
