Join VIP and Help the site!

do you have to be VIP to have permission to post new threads?? it says i may not post new threads and i cant reply to thread without it getting looked at first?
im not vulgar or curse or do anything wrong just wondering what was up and if someone could help me unlock it i miss posting and reading with my fellow phin fans

Yes it does but it doesn't explain the extreme costs it takes to run this site. Those great members that donate, join VIP, and the awesome super donators support the site so those that don't can enjoy the site. Matt was always trying to get support for the site.

My post was meant to be a joke. Parody of Ross wanting money for the stadium by threatening to move the team.

Just to be clear the site isn't moving servers, just a poorly executed joke on my part. :(

Agreed. Especially for me. Not a lot of fins coverage in NY, so I'm always on here. If you love the site guys, toss a couple of bucks this way. If you can't do VIP, it's understandable. But toss the site $5. It's two less cups if coffee this week. Make it at home and keep the site going!

I'd like to see the new owner of the site make a post so we can see who it is. I also wouldn't mind if we charged a one-time $5 fee for people to use this site. VIP would remain at the price it is.

$5 a year cannot be debated because it's absolutely doable.

No he is not, my attempt at a joke didn't go the way I thought it would. There is no server moving and no threats, read my post on page 5.

Nothing really changed when ownership changed hands. Henrik has been an Admin for quite some time and is a big time Dolphins fan. He might be a little more hands off than Matt was, but the site is exactly the same.

Very well Nubs but shifty and I asked about the donation goal bar? Can we work on putting that back up? and the $5 fee is not a bad idea either IMO for what is worth.

We might be able to do that bar thing again. Bill or Henrik would be the one to put that back up. I will talk with them and see what they say.
 
There isn't a donation bar right now because henrik hasn't told me to put one up. with the donations we currently get and the vip subs that people are buying And AD Revenue, as far as I know we're doing ok. If henrik tells me otherwise tomorrow, i'll be the first to let the staff know and then the membership.

As to the server moving... Henrik owns the server we're on... there are still bandwidth and operating costs, but I can tell you that if he moves us to a different server, it'll be a bad ass hardware change.
