I thought that Jay Glazer's confirmation of Martin's text to Incognito established that Martin's pre-dated Incognito's by a week. That would negate this possibility.

Is there definitive evidence that corroborates the relative dates of the two texts?

In the end, they look to veterans as taking more of the responsibility, and they're not wrong there. Face it, all exposing the rest of the text will do at this point is further embarrass the organization. Ive had enough of this already. I want it all to just go away.

Besides, we all know what those texts say. Or at least we have the general idea. Thats enough. Nobody needs to see that ****. Its like reading another Shouright post. :lol: Thats actually pretty funny.

Why the hell should he be, when all was conjecture until very recently? There was no CONTEXT before today, was there? Yet, there was plenty of speculation by SOME people on this board and beyond it. All because because of one-sided and unverified claims, which are now very much in question due to verified evidence. Wannyheimer behaved appropriately here. I can't say the same for others.

P.S. Walrus, you certainly can't say I didn't warn you, can you?
 
martin really screwed up by leaving without telling why....until his lawyers spoke.

Every friggin person who has left this game of football for whatever reason did not go to hospital and then to mommy and then to a lawyer.
 
Sometime during the 5:00p (local time) on Espn (last night), they were promoting MNF and said there would be no shortage of storylines but did mention specifics. If I'm not mistaken this was after the Glazer chat w/ Richie.

I had a feeling that Jay Glazer would shed light on this whole sordid mess. I saw parts of the interview & analysis after (Not JJ's though). Terry was right Incog is a meathead but its trick to know where boundaries are. Strahan put things in perspective.

I deliberately missed CBS's pregame. Shannon & Esaison's "thoughts" were going to be predictable. Per WV's thoughts on Cowher getting all sanctimonious, Could it be that no stealer needs "toughening" as getting goons, thugs, & hooligans has been the stealer way since Ham, Lambert, etc..?

Props to WV for seeing that this is more PC driven BS. Football is a violent game; the locker room is no place for Felix Unger wannabees.

What is even more convincing to me is in the interview with glazer cogs says he would just want to start all over.

cogs is not coming back.

Martin is not coming back IMO.

Ireland's azz is in serious trouble with Ross IMO.

Philbin deserves second chance. Ben Rothlisberger did much worse and the coach not held resposible. League swept it under rug by a settlement. sound familiar? Coach said the incident was dealt with immediately. What does anyone suppose that is?

Meanwhile, ESPN is praying right now that none of this is true and keep hitting the incog button.
 
Good this came out, I always wondered what was on the other side of those texts, from the other person.

glazer never confirmed the ext where martin said he'd kill incognitos whole family. he did confirm the text where martin said he didn't blame anyone on the team

If it wasn't true he wouldn't have let that part of the interview air....hurts his cred....
