This whole thing has smelled funky from Day 1 man ...... I haven't been fooled one time by the intentions of Martin's family and lawyer David Cornwell. His family bullied their own son into getting involved in this social media shell-game in order to protect his rookie bonus money since he CLEARLY was not coming back to the team. How can you after you walk out on them? He's not a good enough player to shake the inevitable reputation he was about to have around the league. So they're trying to paint the picture that the team and Incognito are responsible for Martin not being able to fulfill his rookie contract. Then you've got Cornwell grandstanding because he was burned by not getting the NFLPA Presidency.

Martin's family and his lawyer are bad liars and they're hiding behind social media and issuing blurbs to media outlets.

Richie maintains he was just trying to make Jon Martin laugh. What's the difference? If you're willing to concede that sending someone an image that says "I WILL MURDER YOUR ENTIRE ****ING FAMILY" is probably being done in jest, why is it so difficult to think that saying "I will **** in your mouth" is an actual threat? Seriously.

Let's be straight here. We both agree Richie is a PoS human being. But do you honestly for a god damn second think he was seriously threatening to go slap Jon Martin's mom and **** down his throat, and then kill him? Do you honestly think Jon Martin was scared he was going to do that?

You send a gag image that relates to prior text messages about killing members if you think the previous texts were in jest. It's a running joke. So are your posts right now btw.

The difference is he has nothing to corroborate his story except his own word. Martin has the picture.

The picture does not absolve Martin of anything. The picture in itself is bonafied proof that talk of killing family members was a running joke between the two of them ..... it's like when people post cat memes on my Facebook because they know I own a cat. My friends kill me for it all the time.

Martin playing the VM for other players and laughing can definitely be used as evidence that it was taken in jest.

Yup. Nobody is saying this makes Richie look like a great guy. It just makes it look like Jonathan Martin is full of ****. Which he is.
