Yeah, turned out to not even be decent cornfed. Yet another 2nd round bust. Guess I placed too much faith in Ireland's ability. Live and learn, amirite?

I wanted Branden Albert via trade. It did not happen and it was a mistake. I also stated I trusted Joe, Sherm and Coach Turner if they trusted Martin to man LT. That was mistake trusting their judgements up front.

Should have traded for Albert.

My first glimpse in game action of Martin getting rag dolled by Houston's Watt last year was all I needed to see to make up my mind about him.
I had never witnessed an NFL player look so weak, pushed aside and thrown around by a man of lesser size, literally getting carried to the QB like a helpless old lady. It was really embarrassing and it told the story.
It was all down hill from there.
Even worse, the GM and coaches were unwilling to admit the mistake further making matters worse going into 2013.

He manages to stop limping and lurching long enough to get through his physical. He is just a name now, not a player.
