Jonathan Martin traded to San Francisco

An yet they have done more than the majority of sixth round qb picks which is my point.

Uhhh Gabbert hasn't done more than most undrafted QB's. In fact, Gabbert hasn't done anything in the NFL except collect paychecks.

Anyways, you will defend Gabbert to no end in typical dlockz fashion. There is no use wasting my time with you.

Gabbert's career (27 starts in 3 seasons):

53.3% completion percentage, 5.6 yards per attempt, 22 touchdowns, 24 interceptions, and just one 4th quarter comeback/game winning drive.

It's particularly worth noting that he got worse in 2013. One touchdown and seven picks in just three starts, with a sub 50% completion percentage. He is flat out terrible. There is no middle ground with Gabbert, dude just stinks.

Your wasting time because you have no argument. You are saying stuff that is based in fiction. Gabbert has started 28 nfl games at qb and how many recent undrafted qb's have been able to start over a few games I the nfl.
In fact only one recent undrafted qb has played at any where near a top level and that Tony Romo from the 2003 NFL draft. I love how you attack me as having a typical dlockz argument and that's true , one that's based in some kind of reality.
Gabbert sucks but lets not just make up stuff to make it sound good. I never wanted Gabbert but your assertaion that the typical undrafted qb or sixth round qb have been better than him is beyond silly

Gabbert has started 27 NFL games, but in those 27 games has proved pretty decisively that he is awful. He basically got two years as a starter and a few last chances in year three. He is godawful.

He will be remembered only for this:

I don't know what Jon Martin has to do with Blaine Gabbert, other than the fact that the 49ers have decided to use late round draft picks on reclamation projects, but I don't know how the book on Gabbert can or should be anything but "the guy is terrible."

He's terrible. He was appreciably worse than Chad Henne, and Chad Henne is not good.

Still a 24 year old guy. Its likely he will never amount to much but still the uninformed ranting that most sixth round and undrafted qb's are better than him Is pure hyperbole

When Gabbert is out of football next year, are you still going to think he's better than a 6th round pick?

of course because he has proven to be better than most sixth round picks even by that standard. The 49ers drafted a qb late last year that did not even make roster. Hell we drafted Josh Heupal with a sixth round pick.

Hopefully this the last post on Martin on the Dolphins forum

Talked to #49ers coach Jim Harbaugh about Jonathan Martin. Story posting soon, Harbaugh said, "I can't wait to give him a big hug."
