Yes, Hurts. He's the full package. People like to crap on his passing ability, but he had a higher passer rating than Tua last season. 5th in the league.

He’s got literally the best talent in the league around him in literally all phases.
I think you get him out of that scheme although they did build it specifically for him his warts show up.
But carry a team? Yeah I just can’t go there.

He was pretty much in shoot outs every week.
He definitely carries the bengals wherever they are going.
There’s not 5 carry teams qbs in the nfl these days.

I’ll say one more thing too the team that no one wanted to play if they made the postseason last year was cinci.
They just ran out of games to catch up.

Of course, I’m not arguing that Burrow isn’t great. He is. But he “carried” the Bengals nowhere last season. Even he couldn’t overcome a poorly-constructed team.

Yeah. The full 17 games. What a concept! Tua went 6-5, and again wasn't there when the team needed him most. I know what QB I would take. Keep on those glasses though.

I am like most here. This is a rebuilding year and why spend for a player when you can get some trade value. This team will be lucky to not finish in the cellar of the AFC East.

Tua got injured, came back, but was not 100%. Tua has issues staying healthy, but when he is healthy, he seems to quietly get as much or more success with less around him then Burrow, and Hurts.
Tua's career is very shaky right now, but not because he can not match top QBs in games, but because he can't stay healthy, and seems to have a tough guy mindset, instead of being smart and sliding early.
Whether people see how effective he can be in games, or choose to cover their eyes to who Tua is as a QB does not change the fact Tua is an injury prone top 10 (Possibly 5) QB that needs to protect himself better or watch his career end.

He’s a duel threat which must be accounted for with the outflank but the oline carries it scheme wise.
