I feel like his contract was basically a one year deal with no dead money in year two so knowing you’re not gonna use them down the stretch and beyond and the lack of cap hit next year easy call.

Not the worst thing in the world, but still need a bruiser for short distances

Best for both parties as he just doesn't have a burst anymore. He will find a home though on a team just for his short yardage and goaline situations .

Just a shame it worked out this way. I had high hopes for the Howard/Brenda combo.

RB's these days need speed, you see it more and more. Funny thing about Howard is, I believe he had it earlier in his career, he either got into injury trouble or got out of shape
