I was at the game and saw that Jordan Tripp got hurt. Looked like Dion Jordan crashed into his knees while making a tackle. Is he OK? Any updates?

It was a chest injury. That's about the only update so far

Now we can have multiple threads on Dion causing injuries to his own players.

The running back lowered his helmet into Tripp's chest.

How is that not a penalty? When the defender leads with his helmet it is a penalty and you can be damned sure they will call it. Why is it not when a WR or RB does it?

The Dion Jordan pick just gets better and better. This staff should have traded him before the draft. We will get nothing for him now.

Did you watch the game? I thought he had some good plays when he pressured the QB and some poor ones when he looked unworthy of being a top drafted prospect. The decision to put on so much weight is looking increasingly questionable because there were plays when he didn't look fast enough or strong enough. However, there were others when Coyle was dialing up multiple blitzes, when he was successfully pressuring the lowly ranked backup QB. I'm interested in the impression of others. Is Dion salvagable? Undrafted Chris McCain appears to show the terrific speed and burst at OLB that we were hoping from Dion.

DJ is definitely getting off to a slow start. However, unless somebody comes along that totally kicks ass, we probably need to give him a year or two before we give up on him. I am beginning to have my doubts, along with several others on our team, but who knows he may surprise. :-)

Great a thread about Tripp gets turned into yet another Dion Jordan thread.

All sideshows aside, how significant of an injury are we talking about, i.e., how many weeks is he projected to be out? Don't want to lose him.

There really isn't any further updates yet but would seem to be a a day to day type injury.
