I'd be so happy to see your guy with pocket presence and a guy who wants touchdowns and isn't afraid to go for him on a regular basis also known as the Killer Instinct.
One thing is certain. Grier and company clearly preferred Josh Rosen to Haskins. He had Haskins falling right into his lap if he wanted him but he didn't, he wanted and went out and got Rosen. Haskins played at an elite level on a very elite team. One has to wonder, if Haskins isn't QBing what basically amounts to an All Star Team how great is he. How is he when the line is getting beat. How is he when he has no running game? How is he when his defense lets him down constantly? Grier like Rosen better, now let's hope he made the right call.
Sam Darnold: 2865 yards with 17 TD and 15 ints....
Media Narrative: He's the future of the franchise and looked very talented as a rookie.
Josh Allen: 2074 with 10 TD and 12 ints
Media Narrative: He's the future of the franchise and looked very talented as a rookie.
Josh Rosen: 2278 with 11 TD and 14 ints
Media Narrative: He looked horrible and has a bad attitude. His teammates and coaches don't like him.
The new running/ passing QBs are exciting to watch. Guys like Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield and now Kyler Murray bring an excitement to the game that is fantastic. But, like we saw with RG 3, when you expose your QB to those kind of hits he ultimately gets injured.
Anybody afraid of any of them? Allen gives me the most pause for concern because of his improvising / scrambling.
