Edwards and hold the Browns feet over the fire, tell them if they wanted Edwards it would cost them R. Brown (if you so chose) and another pick or two. You only have to go back to last year and the Manning/Rivers deal which worked out the same for the Chargers. Saban blew that IMO. In addition, I don't think taking a RB that split time during a 12 (or so) game season was the the best pick. Everyone is on the Brown wagon now, don't get me wrong I want nothing but good things for the Fins, but 1st round RB's bust all the time and until I see him prove something I will be the sceptic.
As much as it hurts to think this way I'm numb about our QB situation. We can talk all we want and ***** all we want but until the fins keep the opponents defense from looking like a jail break getting to our QB EVERY FRIGGING play whoever is at QB is almost irrelevant. Saban hasn't done a thing to fix the line-play and who of us didn't recognize the #1 problem with the fins was the O-lne? I venture to say to a man we all knew that was the "wheel that needed the greese".
I do say what the heck, bring in Davey, bring in Couch, bring in anyone for a test run. What can it hurt?
Well we had the #2 pick what position did we need the most at the time RB who was the best all around back in draft? Speed power catching and blocking and dont forget best attitude Ronnie Brown. How do you know that the Browns would trade for Edwards? We might would be stuck with him then it would be a wasted pick because we aint got a QB worth a crap and we already have good WR's IMO.
