Just got finished watching the.........

Honestly I like Moore too. I don't know why so many fans draw a line and feel they need to pick either Moore or Tannehill. I still think Tannehill is the future BUT I think pulling him for a Moore right now is the best thing to do. Moore has been in more pro systems and it would make sense he should pick it up faster, let him play.

Exactly. It is all about winning. Let Tannehill relax on the bench and learn. Right now Moore is in the prime of his career.
Tannehill is crapping himself. Let Moore play and allow Tannehill a few years on the bench to grow into abetter QB.

Shula would have won the last game with either Moore or Ryan T at QB, we had a lot less talented rosters but Shula coached to the strength of his roster instead of attempting to mold the roster to his strengths something basically every coach since him to coach the phins has attempted to do and failed. In fact the coach with the next best record for the phins that everyone wants to hate was Dave Wanstant who again just coached to the players strengths instead of reshaping the roster. Yes you want a better coach than Dave to win in the playoffs but the guy at least got there and that is the reason why.

I'm not done with RT at all but I would like to see us win more games and be more competitive. Matt Moore isn't the long term answer, as we all know, but I'd like to see if he gives us a chance to win more games this year. Heck he was our MVP the year before we drafted TH so he's not some total scrub. Maybe he can give us something that we can't get with RT right now. Sometimes it's not about winning the Super Bowl this year, it's about feeling good about your team and I'd really like to feel good about this team right now. Maybe MM will stink up the field and make us call for RT but we, as fans, don't know that. Maybe the coaches do know that so maybe that is why they won't start MM and if that's the case, so be it. I do believe that MM can throw a more catchable long ball right now but maybe that isn't enough. Sure would be nice to have defenses respect Mike Wallace going deep and I don't think they do right now.

Moore is going to give us a ton more interceptions. No pun intended

Moore should of started in 2012. How a qb with limited college experience started in the NFL from day one is beyond me. A year or at least a few games on the sidelines could have done wonders.

game again just now.

I don't know, and I know this isn't going to be popular here, but, I think I keep going with THill the rest of the way.

his throws were pretty good, he just wasn't comfortable in the pocket in this game. We all know he doesn't have pocket presence but he looked really uncomfortable there. I'm really starting to believe it's growing pains with a brand new offense and he's been under Sherman too long. He really looks like he's trying to learn a lot all at once.

Again, he could be a bust but I think we really need to let this play out to be sure. What if by the fifth or sixth game things start clicking and they all grow in this offense. Would hate to see us take this kid at #8 and don't give him at least 2 1/2 seasons and he excels somewhere else.

I've enough of the kid to know he will be the best backup in the nfl for a couple of years. I don't see that it factor. You watch luck Wilson foles they have that qb factor, instincts etc. th not even close. Maybe th in 5 yrs becomes alex smith , time will tell. By the time the miami dolphins have a franchise qb again I'll be getting my first prostate exam.

Theres a good chance Tannehill will not be the QB we were all hoping for. But Moore is NOT the answer! As pissed off as I am at Tannehill now, I still think he's the best QB on this team. And that may not be saying much!

I agree that he is the best QB for the rest of the season. Since we suck anyway, they may as well shoot for a higher draft pick and Sir Ryan is the guy that gives the best shot at that.

The guy can't throw a pass with touch whether its 5 or 50 yards down the field. He's not a gonna be the one.

I'll be the first to admit that Tannehill is not playing well at all, but he's not playing awful...that would make things a lot easier. It's hard to bench a guy who's not throwing a lot of interceptions....whatever chance he has to be our QB of the future, be it 5% or 50%, it's bigger than Moore's 0%, so we just need to ride it out for now.

WHY? Moore's td to int percentage is way above Tannehills, you are talking stupid. Moore's winning percentage is higher than Tannehill's, many of Moore's stats are better than Tannesucks. You must be a liberal, you just make crap up and there are no facts that can get in your way. It hasn't been an open competition since Tannehill got here, because his college coach was the OC. Tannehill wasn't much better than average in the system he was used to in college. Moore did a good job, MVP of the team, Tannehill was given the job. Ireland had to have Tannehill, that is enough for me to think that he might not be the greatest. I know what I see, Moore moves the ball when he plays, Tannehill got hurt in the jets game, Moore pulled out a win. Moore is a capable qb.

The smart thing to do is let this play out....if we determine it Isn't going the right way....do what San Diego did after Drew Brees played badly in his third year and draft another QB to compete.

We're going nowhere with Matt Moore.

I watched the game again tonight also. Not many differences from my first impression. I was struck that Brandon Albert actually started out well then seemed to get rattled as soon as Tamba Hali beat him for the strip sack. After that point Hali owned the confidence level and got the best of it.

The Chiefs defensive backs attacked the cheap underneath stuff. They were hardly touted or even experienced players in most cases but very impressive yesterday. I've always wondered why so many teams allow the Dolphins to complete those 3-7 yard throws with so much cushion. Kansas City wasn't having any of it and Miami's game plan couldn't compensate. Normally a non-division foe doesn't know your personnel or tendencies. Kansas City's defensive backfield looked like they were prepared for everything.

Tannehill has the 6 iron trajectory. Not nearly enough variety of pace and loft. It's a regulating trait. Sure it looks great when the opening is there and the ball darts to the receiver but so many plays evolve with a necessity to change pace. He doesn't have it. To Lazor's credit, the vast majority of our designs call for that 6 iron trajectory. I'm sure that's what Lazor means when he says the plays are designed to play into Tannehill's skill set. Matt Moore has considerably more touch.

The cheerleaders looked good in the first half with the aqua ass hugging shorts.

I don't get the Matt Moore logic one bit...aside from the excitement angle. I get it, but it's not what you make football decisions on. Coming into the year most of the board was in agreement that Tannehill would get the 3rd year to prove his worth with some better talent and play calling around him. Well the protection still isn't good, our top RB addition is injured and the playcalling has been pretty poor at times. It's a new offense, he has the physical tools and he showed promise from year 1 to year 2. Whether you agree or not shouldn't matter, if you think he sucks let him play it out and fall flat on his face so we can nab a new QB high next year. We know what Matt Moore is, he's not going to win a playoff game. Maybe he'd be more exciting, who gives a flying ****. Who knows, maybe he could take us to 8-8!!! Another mid tier draft pick. I rather no for absolute certain what Tannehill is than just give up on him. 3rd year is the QB breakout year, and he's struggling to adapt to a new offensive scheme. I'm not nearly as confident in his future as I was before...but there's really no logical reason to turn to Moore. None whatsoever. Give the kid a chance to grow in this offense, the whole unit is playing like hot garbage.

I don't think we should bail on Tannehill, I still think he can be part of Miami's future. I don't know why people think we can't sit him awhile and when he is ready, if there is a time, move him back in. It's not new for a QB to get demoted, spend time on the bench, and go on to start again.

My thoughts exactly. We all know Thill hasn't had the YEARS of playing the position in college, so maybe spitting snaps in practice, and holding a clipboard on sundays might do him some good. I'm not saying that Moore is taking this team to the super bowl, but, who knows, he MAY just win us a few games until "the light comes on" with Ryan.

And don't come to me with "he will win us enough games to ruin our draft position" crap. That's like telling your wife that you are taking out a loan for the full value of your paid off house and using it all to buy Mega millions tickets because it's up to 350 million dollars. The draft is to iffy (most of the time) to say lets give up this year....because next year, we will be GREAT.

I can see you stroking to your Tannehill poster, but it is just a fantasy.

Dude, you need to learn the ropes here little man. First off I'll give you a break because you must be 15, but there are no personal attacks allowed on the forum here. We will ban you if it happens again
Where do these posters come from. Do you know anything about football???
