Matt Ryan is a ****ing demon at QB. Man I wish we wouldve taken this guy. All I know is Jake Long better be a beast and Henne better become the guy we need at QB as well. The 2 for 1 must happen. Otherwise we totally ****ed up not taking Matt Ryan.

Don't worry. Henne will end up being the second best quarterback in the 2008 Draft, right after Colt Brennan.

 Colt Brennan. No way.

Actually Im hoping Henne will be the best. I think he has a shot. Honestly, I think Ryan will be the best, and I think Henne might be the next best. I would be happy with that if Long is a helluva player too.

But, heres to hoping its Henne #1 and Jake Long is a stud too.

Based on what??? (works both ways, huh?)

so far his career accomplishments include:
- 80 QB rating in 3 preseason games (Cleo Lemon had a 100+ rating 2 yrs ago so it's not exactly a good predictor of ability or future success)
- Beating out Chris Redman and DJ Shockley for starting job (they don't even belong in the NFL)

but yeah....let's start getting his bust ready for canton.

I'm not so big on Ryan either. He was over hyped at BC. I think he'll be an ok QB, a starter you can get by with, but thats only if he survives playing for an awful team in Atlanta who i know has Roddy White but still just sucks. I'm not sure that he's a DEMON just yet. Not with only three pre-season games under his belt.

Before mortgaging the farm to bet on Ryan's career success, consider:

a. the level of his competition in Atlanta
b. Blank's desperate need to fill the seats after the Vick debacle and fan backlash
c. the perspective that Ryan Leaf burned up the exhibition season and was the first rookie since Elway to win his first 2 games
d. the possibility that being thrown to the wolves from the get-go might end up being counterproductive to his achieving what some (but far from "all" and obviously not including BP) foresee as his potential.

He was pretty poised in his first ever drive in the nfl and threw a 25 yard td pass to Roddy White against the Jags 1st team D so thats a little accomplishment...
