Just thought I'd leave this here.

Sheesh!!!! While I loved Zack as a player...how about we find the next Ray Lewis or Patrick Willis, instead of the next little engine that could.

Yea..Don't get me wrong,..i loved zack when he was here....but at best he was the ultimate overachiever ...I want Zack's smarts and hustle in a prototype inside linebacker's body.

So going by you three meatheads "No Thanks"...I presume you would rather have the Zack's talent ,than Ray Lewis or a Patrick Willis...Who are you guys? Jeff Ireland?
I'm asking you.."phish""JC""studsatele"...WTF?..drafting like, what you guys suggest is the reason we haven't won in ALONG time...
Damn, some of you...well it's the reason the Dolphins are a laughing stock..good going guys.

Well there's some slight variations.

Thomas was drafted in the fifth round, while the other two were first rounders. Thomas was somebody who came out of nowhere and had about as good of an NFL career as a linebacker could have.

And to be honest, either three of them would be fine with me at linebacker.

"Well it's the reason the dolphins are a laughing stock" lol get the hell out of here. Because having a guy like Zach Thomas over either Ray Lewis or Patrick Willis would change much. All three of them are talents that don't come around very often. We'd be damn fortunate to have a player like Zach on our team right now.

Nope, just constantly drafting sub-par talent instead of Hall-of -Fame Talent.

Nowhere was I arguing that I'd take Zach Thomas over Ray Lewis. If I had to flip a coin between the two, and I ended up with Thomas instead of Lewis, I wouldn't be pulling my hair out. Thomas was a stud of a linebacker for Miami, and he wasn't the "little engine that could," he was the little engine who would knock your ass out.

love me some 'Flinstone', but don't think homeboy gets Hall Call.. truly loved 'n admired by all real fans

Don't you think our hall of famers should be in higher regard than Zack and JT,because they are Hall of Famers and ,well
JT and Zack are not.

Are either even eligible yet? I'm fairly confident JT isn't

Honestly, all the homer-ism for Marino aside, Zach was my favorite Dolphin of all-time. I loved the way he played the game, and he was a person to look up to when I was younger. I remember in football, I always took #54, because Zach was my favorite player and I played LB.

Certainly he was a great player and a fan favorite in Miami.

was gonna give that a thumbs down. Why, because he was so very very good, and looking at that footage, makes me realise just how bad our ILB's are now. He could still outplay the ILB's on this team now.

But, wow, thanks. He is a Miami legend.

Morning dipsticks that only started watching Miami in 1990....Get over it, Ray was better, but Zack was the leader of several defenses that
surrendered the most playoff points in Dolphins' history..a couple of times.

Even if you say Lewis was better, which I might even agree with, it does not for a second diminish how great Zach was one bit. Both were excellent and should be in the HOF in my opinion.
