If the only thing you had with the Browns is Hillis and a pretty good young o-line wouldn't you run the ball? I mean who were there Receivers? TEs? QBs? McCoy didn't look too bad but really who did they have? Stuckey, Cribbs, Engram, Moore Massaquoi. They all suck. He had Hillis, leading rusher and 2nd leading receiver on that team.

Now he has a Bush, Marshall, Bess, Fasano, Hartline, and Thomas to work with. Lets see what he does here before you no what he does. Good coaches change their philosopy to what their strengths are. LEts see what he does.

You can have the same philosopy and excute it better. You can be a smash mouth team and still throw. Look at the 90's Cowboys.

It’s not like Cleveland didn’t have any talent you forgot to mention Ben Watson who is better than Fasano. **** the awful Washington Redskins had the 18th overall offense with a crap team at least that is in the middle of the pack.

Really you want to use Watson as your case. Okay their top receiver so they threw to him more. 68 catches, 763 yards , 11.2 y/catch and 3 tds. Fasano who would be our third option behind Marshall and Bess maybe even 4th behind Hartline had 39 catches, 528 yards, 13.5y/catch and 4 tds. Is he really better?? Yes its not the 90's but last time I checked the Jets have made it to the AFC Championship game with the same philosophy. Giants won 4 years ago, Steelers 3 both using our philosophy. Its not dead you just have to excute.
