As a Jet fan I certainly won't go on the record saying that he is a great QB. He is an average QB who plays hard, has a lot of heart and can scramble well. I also watched him come in pretty cold a few times last year and do well, and that is a great quality for a backup.

Nobody wearing green wants Jay to start as QB, but most of us feel a little better about having him ready to come in if we need him. He knows the AFC East and plays hard. His accuracy is certianly not the best.

He has a lot of good qualities, but believe me, they don't balance the bad ones. Just make sure your receivers have gloves attached to their ankles, because that's where he's going to put most of his throws to them. When he doesn't overthrow them.
