Just watched the game DON'T UNDERSTAND the frustration with Tannehill

i don't know....being in the bottom 20 in all offensive categories, and still pulling out an 8-8 season is pretty impressive. I'd like to see a team in the bottom of all offensive categories make the playoffs, or even be in the discussion of playoffs. you know what else would have helped the dolphins go 10-6? Not getting 58 sacks.

I never claimed that it didn't, and in fact made it clear that I agreed with what you're saying. (Although last year, Atlanta scored more points and gave up more points by a lot than the Dolphins. Ryan also had more passing yards than Tannehill.) The point though is that you can't chalk it up entirely to the supporting cast, and, if anything, it has just as much to do with the QB.

But more to the point, when the Tannehill led Dolphins make into the playoffs just once, much less consistently, then you can't start calling bad seasons anomolous.

Why? You keep throwing these statements out there like they are facts. Why don't we approach the argument like teams do? Evaluate the play of the individuals and make assessments accordingly.

The team decided that the OL, RB, and OC were bigger problems than the QB for the sacks, and anemic running game. I think I'll agree with them.

BTW, Pro Football Focus analyzes the play of individual players, they ranked Tannehill 7th.

I just do not believe ProFootball Focus has enough credibility to be used as fact. In general, I agree that the Dolphins believed that OL, RB, and OC were the big problems.

It is a fact that they ranked him 7th. Whether you agree with the ranking is another matter. I merely offered it as an independent view of Tannehill's play.
