Not that it was an earth shattering message or anything, but it seemed that dave actually made someone accountable for something, after making the no-brainer move to toss Lamont Brightful. But alas, dave shows us once again why he's the NFL's biggest p--sy!
Wannstedt said the Dolphins had reached an agreement with kick returner Wesley Welker before Sunday's loss, and that Lamont Brightful's fumbles had nothing to do with Welker's arrival.
"This wasn't any premeditated move that we thought through because we were disappointed in Lamont Brightful," Wannstedt said. "It was just that we really liked what [Welker] did in the preseason.''
which beggs the question: what the F does a guy gotta do (even a guy who's been with the team for 2 weeks and you have no attachment toand fumbles or drops almost all his returnes in his first game) to dissapoint Dave? One could argue that dave had balls to bench jay. But you'll never be able to convince me that he wasn't all but forced to by wayne, via Rick.
some posted the obvious question of why dave didn't get in anyone's face after Sunday's awful performance. Pathetic, in my opinion. But at least there's a guy or two who was willing to stand up and be heard in the midst of the chaos. but alas dave poo pooed that one too.
"Wannstedt likes Randy McMichael's leadership skills, but wasn't thrilled with the tight end's helmet toss on the sideline in Sunday's loss. "We won't have that again. He can get enthused, but let's be positive about it,'' Wannstedt said.
which beggs another obvious question. How the F can someone find anything "positive" about the O's performance? what dave? No one lost their helmets that game? The Gatoraid was especially tasty that night? The keepers did a great job cutting the grass? what exactly?
