K.C. is looking for a blue-chip potential Corner

Moss will have 200 yrds receiving twice a year vs. the Chiefs if they pick Pac Man.

:roflmao:

The Chiefs WILL be able to get a pretty good CB with their 1st round pick, but he probably won't be the best player available when they pick him, and what I can't understand fo the life of me is why not get a SURE THING(Surtain) with your 2nd rounder in Surtain, and get the BPA with your 1st rounder???? There are going to be some VERY good D-Linemen left when they pick, and D-line rookies CAN make instant impacts rushing the passer and or clogging up running lanes.........They get one of these guys, AND Surtain, and Their D all of a sudden looks pretty darn good

Carl Peterson is a Jerk.

I have to pipe in on the Chiefs ordeal... I live in Kansas City and have been a Dolphin fan for 33 years. I have to pass on what the General manager said at his press conference the other day.

[font=Verdana,Arial, Helvetica][font=Verdana,Arial, Helvetica]"We have 72,000 season-ticket holders," Peterson said. "We've renewed 95 percent of those people again this year.

"I haven't had a letter or a fax or a phone call from any of those people. And honest to goodness, I haven't had any letters from outside of that, if you want to say, sphere of people who I consider real Kansas City Chiefs fans because they step up each year and put their money down and say, 'I'm here to see the Chiefs.'"

I listen to our local sports talk radio station all the time and have heard numerous people say the've email Carl Peterson about his ability and judgements on Defensive drafts and decisions.... The comment about the only real Chief's fans being season ticket holders has the Chiefs fans really piss-d off and the radio station has been airing all the calls and reading emails that are being sent to the Chiefs compound. Your not a real Chief's fan unless your a season ticket holder. WOW what a stupid thing to say.

This is Carl Peterson we are dealing with here.

I know I tend to overdo references to statistics. But here's one website I use, linked at bottom of this paragraph. It breaks down trends I find useful for betting purposes, and interesting overall. If we get the #2+ from Kansas City, it will be due to their acknowledgement of this reality; the Chief corners were the worst in the league last year in defensing the opponents' top two receivers, allowing tons of big plays to the tune of 9.0 yards per attempt and 21 TDs. http://www.twominutewarning.com/cb2004.htm

He just signed a 4 year extension. Why he was even offered one is beyond me.

I hope all the top CBs are gone by the time the Chiefs pick, their picks are all busts and they go winless.

It serves them right!

There is a lot of talent at corner this year, Marlin Jackson, Fabian Washington, Justin Miller, Webster etc etc. If I were them Id have to think about whether I wanted to give up a second round pick for Pat also. Pat is definitely great, and none of these guys will be as good as he is but they will be cheaper and they will around a lot longer. If they have concerns about Pats knee I cant really blame them. Hopefully they give us the pick, I wont be shocked if it doesnt happen

I cant wait till pacman goes up against these recivers, that will shut yall up...

And thats why your on the practice squad (Under your name)...

Hey brainiac the only player to come out of college as a CB and dominate was the one and only Deion Sanders. I'm afraid Pac man is far behind the talent of Deion in his prime.

So to say Pac man can hang with the NFL's receivers is straight out stupid. It takes two to three years for a CB to get adjusted to the NFL and be able to compete at a pro level. Rookie CB's never make an impact...

You need to do your homework before you spew that chit coming from your mouth!

Well I guess all the K.C. fans on sporting news radio on XM must not be season ticket owners...because they want to hang Peterson. But don't despair....something is in the works....posssibly big too.

Are you reffering to that crap of a rumor posted in another thread. Ugh, this isn't the NBA.

PS is a pro bowler NOW. Can't get much better, period. So what if he's 28 and he's expensive. PS for a 2nd rounder is a bargain, especially since they think they can contend for a SB now. Peterson's a fool.
