What does one have to do with the other? Hill is here, and the circumstances of his acquisition were such that there was no time for fans to discuss that aspect. What's done is done.

Not even sure what your point is really. Is it that ppl are hypocrites? Is it that because Hill did something stupid that it's OK that Hunt did? Is it that you would have preferred that we not have Hill on the team?

I won't be rooting against him, but I won't root for him. I can't help it. I can't just pretend he's not an awful human being.

It sucks, because the games will be a little less enjoyable, as his success will be bittersweet for me.
 
Both Hunt and Hill’s domestic violence incidences happened a while ago. I’m not going to defend it or like the idea of having players that ever abused women on the team. And they will forever have to live with those actions.

But they have also both had zero incidences of any problems since. It simply just is the case that the team would be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn’t give second chances to guys they felt they had enough reason to believe were reformed. Even if their previous conduct was indefensible.

For comparison… with Watson we would’ve had to trade away a ton of assets when he was still in the middle of dealing with his fallout. Let alone having it be years later where he’s had no behavioral problems since.

He is or was an auful human being agreed but it was in college and he's avoided off field stuff since.

Don't ever touch a woman. You become so much less of a man when you do.

He also got away with child abuse (and more physical abuse of the mother, if I remember correctly) since he's been in the NFL.

Yes that's his point, and its a fair one. People are super quick to point out what a domestic dbag Hunt is, while conveniently forgetting that Hill's past is similar.

Whether Hill was traded here previously (not giving fans a chance to discuss it) is irrelevant,. You either don't want any of this on your team, or you choose to separate the art from the artist. Having it both ways is lame.

I would agree with a qualifier about relevance.

I can see it as a valid discussion on a player that isn't here yet, that a poster opens a thread about attaining said player. To discuss it in terms of a player that is already on the roster with a huge, long term contract is kind of a waste of time.

I do agree that a lot of humans are hypocrites, including myself at times.
 
Pass on Hunt.

If we are gonna trade for a RB, only team I would like the phins to contact is GB.

I knows it's practice and all, but everyday I'm reading how edmonds keeps picking up 10-12 yard runs.

Let's see what he can do with this offense.
