Kay-Jay Harris

Wow, look at all the past Fred Russell fans coming after me.

It's a numbers game, and he doesn't fit in the main 53.

Dude Fred Russel? You can't compare the 2. Kay Jay is a big fast back who will be GREAT to have here on the GOAL LINE! We don't have to put Ricky and Ronnie in there on 1st and goal from the 3. We can slam him up in there for a few runs knowing with his size he can get in!!

Kay Jay is too valuable to be cut, especially in the first rounds of cuts!! :rofl3: I think Kay Jay should make the team over Minor.

Where did I compare Fred to KJ?? I said they are the same type of fans that we had last year with him.

And from Bedards column yesterday: Kay-Jay Harris hasn't impressed me as much as he did during mini-camps. He's decent, but he's going to have to battle to make this team. The preseason games are going to be his time to shine or he won't make it

Any news on how Kay-Jay Harris is doing? If we do end up trading Lamar Gordon (he seems to have more value to other teams then Ricky), I'd like to see Kay-Jay be Ronnie's back up in case Ricky turns around and pulls another Ricky on us.
he doesnt have more value than ricky.

In tonight's blog in the PBP, Greg Bedard says that Ricky will not count as part of the 53 while he is serving his suspension.

looks like I was wrong then. They usually count

KJ is a beast....too bad he's old (26)...age scares people in the the pro leagues for some reason...everyone wants the new, hot, young, next big thing...and they are willing to pay for it.

If not with the Fins, I hope he can make some NFL cash somewhere, he tore through the Big East...

one way to look at it is that while most (but not all...see curtis martin) Rbs in the league are overworked and done byt the time they hit 30...Kay-Jay will just be hitting his prime. :)
