We'll get to see him in action in Saban's system, which he may be a little on the small side for, but right now Jason Glenn and Zach Thomas are proving that size doesn't matter as much as it should.
When healthy Eddie is very Jason Glenn-like in coverage. I like his coverage in drop zones on this defense.

I believe he missed his share of time in college with injuries. IMHO the reason most players will not play through the injuries in the pro's is simply that they are already getting paid. In college, they still have to prove they can play at the next level. In the pro's, the pay check will be deposited on time no matter what.Muck said:I expect to see some rust.
The sad thing is, when he finally got in last year....he did really well. I was very impressed with what I saw out of what was essentially a rookie. He could cover a lot of ground quickly. He tackled well, he could hit, and he could blitz.
But the guy just cannot stay on the field. Hopefully this will be the end of his injury troubles.
What's ironic is that while he's always been an injury prone guy, he was able to play thru those injuries in college. I don't think he ever missed a game at Tennessee. But in the pros, they've KO'd him.
