Draft Tannehill and start Moore until he's ready.

If we don't trade up to get RG3, I think it would be a mistake to take a QB in the 1st with the 8th or 9th pick. Or even the second round, for that matter. We need a franchise QB. A top 10 QB talent, otherwise draft a player that can help get us to the playoffs immediately. We have more holes than just QB. If you want to take a chance on a QB that doesnt have a high draft grade, do it in a later round. Moore can get us by for the short term. Just my 2 cents

I somewhat agree, though not totally. Skipping on round 1 qbs and picking other ones later has not worked for Miami

We might have to pull a Tennessee/Minnesota and pick a guy we like a little earlier than where he was graded out. If we want a qb (and god knows we need one) we have to pay the price.

Miami has had bad drafts on QBs in the 2nd round, but there's no point in drafting 2nd round material QBs in the 1st round. Luck and RGIII should be the only QBs we look at in the 1st round ESPECIALLY at our pick. We just need to take the BPA and hope someone like Russell Wilson is there in the 3rd round.

I'm not meaning to say we should pin our QB hopes on a guy we get later; my point is, don't take a QB in the first round just for the sake of taking a QB in the first round. If you don't have a franchise grade on one of them, then don't draft them in a spot indicative of where a franchise QB should be taken. Second round QBs haven't worked out well for us either. So, I think you either go all in and get the QB you have the franchise grade on, or you stick by Moore this year and go hard after one next year.

I'm all for paying the price for a great QB. I just think it really should be for a great QB

No way we take either of them at 8/9. I think if those are the options, Moore starts ahead of them. Just because Weeden's old doesn't mean he's just going to cruise into the pros like a vet. He has his many qualities, but he still misses throws, he still makes poor decisions, he's not athletic enough to improvise his way through as he adjusts to the increased speed of the game. Dude's got to develop and unfortunately his age leaves him a small window to do so. With Tannehill's injury, if he's just sitting there in the 3rd round I would definitely take a chance on him. But let's not all start chanting that he's the franchise messiah QB before he actually does anything. I think he's got talent. I heard his 40 time the other day and it really doesn't do justice to how surprisingly fast he is.

Agree with the Russell Wilson suggestion...he is flat out fantastic besides his height...he will rise in the senior bowl combine etc.

Only way I would look at Weeden is if he had a big draft day plummet. If he is available late, cause no team once draft a guy his age in the early rounds...get him.

I wouldn't be too upset if we built around Moore, but I still want to draft a QB. No to Weeden. What's all the hype about Tannehill? Not hating, I just don't know anything about him.

Tannehill is interesting. If we don't get #2, trade down to the mid-early teens I.e. 13-15 and then take him; he could fall that far because of his foot injury I'd bet. If we get 2, RG3. Please.

I believe Tannehill will rise up the draft boards.....I see him going high round 1, and someone to be considered by the Dolphins with pick 8 or 9. Weeden will be a 2nd rounder for sure.

I say draft Russell Wilson and keep Moore

I have us drafting Weeden and Russell Wilson in my latest mock. Gotta love Russell Wilson. Wilson has it all when talking QB. The only thing he lacks is a few inches in height.

Tannehill? Yeah let´s throw the 1st or 2nd pick for another bad Qb away.20 Starts as Qb, 5400y 42 tds and 21 Picks are you kidding me? He should be happy if he gets draftet in the 7th.

I think they should just pick the best QB available. If they strongly believe the QB is a guy who can lead them to a championship, then you draft him with the first pick. No trading down. You never know who will try to trade up in front of you. So what if you reach for a QB? If that QB ends up being "the truth", no one will care you drafted him high.
