Keeping Clabo & Jerry?

I just don't understand why you would want to re-sign a guy who has not played well this year who is like 35 years old and is clearly deteriorating in play. I don't get that.

To be honest, I have a lot of respect for Tyson Clabo. I liked the signing in part because he had a strong rep for being an outstanding person off the field. He handled himself with admirable professionalism through this entire season. But it is time for the guy to hang up his cleats.

Clabo is 31, and not to be confused with McKinnie, who has sucked.

Clabo sure as hell got settled here in the last 9 games, when he has been great. Jerry is far from a lost cause but, has not proven to be able to run block consistently. Have you watched their play or, just going with the misconception that everyone on the OL sucks?

You're trolling, right? I mean you can't be serious.....

I cant believe that Sherman decided to run Clay on the right side on that 4th and inch play. Our worst side and they decide to run to that side.

In a backup role....one or both would be good. But in run blocking (which is one of our largest needs), I think you have to look elsewhere for starters.

I watched a bit of the Patriots / Bills game yesterday and was impressed at how far down the field the Patriots O-lineman got on run blocking. Our guys don't typically leave the line of scrimmage. Also, we ran a lot to the right side in 2013.....it wasn't pretty.

I do agree however, that Clabo was very strong the 2nd half of the year.

Mostly agree. However, we ran a tad more to the left, and had better results to the right.

So, now that the season is over...haven't your homer glasses come off yet?

I'm very serious, and the trolling deal is the nonsense some use when they don't know enough to post anything worthwhile to back up what they have to say. Sad but true.

You apparently wish to take blind shots with no idea of what you are talking about. Try watching the OL play, and then tell me how much you know.

Are you ****ing serious? You say that Clabo was playing great and Jerry was playing well. You need to go back and look at the tape...not someone else. It is quite apparent you don't know what the **** your talking about.

You're outta your gourd. Sorry.

I see. I'm outta my gourd by saying that Clabo is 32, and has been great over 9 games, with FACTS to show it. On the other hand, you are just fine in believing that he is 35, and offering absolutely nothing to show anything different. Hmmmmm. :0

C'Mon Man.

I am done with Jerry. Let him walk. Clabo, on the other hand, started playing well after he was benched and then forced to play due to the whole Martin/Incognito thing. I would keep Clabo for the vet minimum and let him teach whoever we bring in. I have a lot of respect for him, and at one time, he was very good. I really think his experience would be great for a young guy and we need depth. I don't want to keep him as a starter, but keeping him as a mentor and depth will not cost us much.

I know that we were number 1 in sacks at 58.... I know and remember it was Clabo who lost that first Buffalo game when Mario Williams destroyed him for the 2 4th quarter sacks. Who was playing great? I won't even talk about the 5 inches per run we've had all year. No way Clabo "the great" had anything to do with that lol... Come on, man.

As always, you take blind shots on pointless opinions, and never watching anything to verify them. I do watch the OL, and will be absolutely thrilled for you to point out where and when Clabo was not playing great in the past 9 games, and Jerry over the past 11 games.

No way you are going to do that because the film does not lie. What I post here is the truth, although some, such as yourself, don't know any better.

In the first Buff game, Clabo got destroyed, and no one can dispute that. However, IF ya bothered to read what I posted, I did say the last 9 games when he has been great. :)

I watch every play of every game multiple times to see what every player does on every play...at least if they are on the screen. And I do it multiple times for each player if they are at the point of attack. Do you do the same...didn't think so. You just spout the same clueless crap that the other homers around here do.
