Keller visiting Pats

I like the idea of drafting Niklas and pairing him with Sims at TE along with Clay as our H-back. That's some weapons for our offense.

Mosely then Niklas as number one and two and i will be the happiest jet hater alive..Niklas and Sims will also help our oline greatly...

Yeah, we don't need any decent O-linemen. Maybe find a couple of acorns as unsigned free agents and just hope for the best.

I doubt he'll be healthy enough to start for anyone week 1. I suspect they might sign him in case he can come back this year and if he doesn't, they'll cut him the first chance they get. If he truly was expected to be healthy and starting early this year, we would have signed him to a prove-it one year deal again. Like others have said, nobody will sign him until at least after the draft.

I agree with Vark and NYC how can you just let him walk? He had developed amazing chemistry with RT.

The New England paranoia around this site and with the media is obnoxious at this point. You would think that every player personnel decision that the Patriots have ever made worked out flawlessly for them. Some have worked (Corey Dillon, Aqib Talib, Randy Moss, and Wes Welker), but many have not (Chad Johnson, Adaliius Thomas, Brandon Lloyd, and Albert Haynesworth, ). They have also had a boat load of draft picks, acquired through numerous trades, that they had totally whiffed on over the years. The Patriots track record with player personnel is not much better or worse than most teams in the NFL, but having a hall of fame all time great QB in Tom Brady covers for many of their personnel mistakes and roster flaws.

Amazing chemistry based on a couple preseason plays?

I remember when a host of people on this site freaked out about some no-name DT we had in our camp who NE signed away. You're absolutely right about the paranoia reaching absurd levels.

I can't wait for the day guys let go of Dustin Keller.
So true, I remember back in the day when there were people around here wanting another injured player, Drew Brees. Sure glad we did sign him....

Dustin Keller and AJ Francis are not in the same league.

Oh great the Brees comparison lives on and on and on and on...

Is Clay not your starter and Sims fresh off his Rook season -> I heard a great deal of fh members calling Clay the MVP of the 2013 season

Thanks coach So your two TE sets have two weak blocking TES in Clay and Keller? No thanks -> like to run the ball once in awhile

SAY IT WITH ME -> CLAY IS THE FUTURE -> He should stay on the field all downs and situations

The patriots are examining the injury for future tackling reference.
