Kiper's End of Season Evaluation of the Dolphins 2011 Rookie Class

hell I could have had 2 sacks againt that OL in Pittsburgh. Truth be told he had 3 sacks all season despite Elvis Dummerville and Von Miller detroying OLs the last half of the year

did not know that...sounds like he's still underachieving then...

I think a B is fair the Dolphins draft. That's how i feel about the Patriots' 2011 draft class as well. For the first time in a long while all 4 AFC East teams had solid drafts at once.

I wasn't a fan of the Daniel Thomas pick; he was a productive runninback but he doesn't have any standout/special quality like elite speed/ability to catch out of the backfield. I feel there were better backs available at where Miami picked. Pouncey was a great pick and he turned out better than i expected this season and he'll have a few pro bowls to his name by the time his career is over.

For the Pats I think it's funny how so many people killed the Solder pick and said he wasn't ready to start. He's had a very good season and his presence is key to the Pat's success due to all the injuries on the oline. I don't have ESPN Insider but I know he kept the Pats' grade (c+) the same. I don't see how getting an impact player, several solid contributors (Ridley, Cannon) and several other players who will contribute in the future (Dowling, Markell Carter, Shane Vereen) merits only a C+.

Solder gets away with quite a lot of inside holding, and D. Thomas has much better power and vision than any of the backs remaining when Miami drafted him (Although, I always wanted Demarco Murray...who is the best running back from this class IMO)

I do have to admit I was wrong about Pouncey, especially at center.. I still think we could have made a better pick there (or try and trade back with the Steelers), but I have been very surprised by his play this season.

Well pouncey alone whom is a probowl alternate is a c+ by himself...add in clay and Wilson who I believe will be great pieces going forward gives it a b-..clyde and Daniel have lots to prove but if they can become assets, ill give the draft an A overall, because you will have 4 pretty decent starters if they develop properly.remember...gates is from a small school and "some" recievers usually take time to develop.the talent is obviously there.we may go a different route though depending on Ireland and the new coach
