NFL Comparison

White is extremely similar to Florida running back, Mike Gillislee, who enters his rookie year with the Miami Dolphins. The comparison for Gillislee last year was former Cleveland Browns scat back Jamel White, so the natural extension is both of these guys compare to him as well as each other. All of these guys have the ability to be productive in a rotation as a runner and receiver out of the backfield, but they all tend to get what the offensive line gives them in terms of yardage and while they all have speed, they do not do much in terms of breaking tackles.

Interesting or funny not sure.

Moreno expressed his enthusiasm for playing for Dolphins head coach Jeff Fisher, and stated "It's always phenomenal when you have the chance to go from one team quarterbacked by Peyton Manning to another team quarterbacked by Peyton Manning."

The Dolphins are not expected to draft a running back with the pick they acquired from Philadelphia for defensive end Dion Jordan, making a contract extension likely for Moreno if he performs well in the one year tryout.
 
LOL at this waste of $. Lamar Miller will have a higher ypc that Moreno who will go back to stinking it up without Peyton Manning at QB.

PFT says it is a one year deal worth $2.5 million(base salary and signing bonus), but also includes incentive bonuses that can reach up to another $500,000. So the maximum he can get is $3 million.

What are you talking about >?? the pick we got for Dion Jordan ?
 
If Moreno was a free agent and got minimal interest - I don't see anyone trading for Thomas who is nowhere close to Moreno.
 
I don't like Thomas or Miller so I like this signing. That said, are we sure Thomas is the odd man out? I'm not sure Miller is better. But I'm really not sure Gillisleepy is better than the other there and seeing how Thomas is still cheap why do we cut him?
 
Looks like Jason la confora was right on this one. Makes me wonder if the Wallace trade rumor is true. Happy with this signing though

Other reporters throughout the process kept saying that Moreno to Miami could happen. Mort said last week he expected it to happen, a lot of the local writers kept saying that it was a strong possibility. When something is really true, you see multiple people report on it, which they did with the Moreno information. Jason was just lumped into that crowd. In regards to the Wallace stuff, only Jason reported it in February and only Jason reported it now. All those other reporters are just laughing it off as false information.
