La Canfora: Dolphins exploring Dion Jordan, Mike Wallace and Cameron Wake trade

If some team gave you a high first round pick say in the top 15 would you take it? I never was a big fan of his but he did play most of the year battling that shoulder injury with stunted his growth, what I didn't like about him was how he rushed the passer, he never took on the linemen he always tried to avoid contact to get to the QB, he needs more strength so he can add some power to his game which will help him in the running game, I do like that he can run and cover which is huge if he is used right.....Lets see what Hickey does.....

Can someone list all the Dolphins stories JLC has been wrong on? LeBatard Show said JLC was credible, want to prove him wrong.

1. Dolphins signing Jared Cook.

There was also something related to GM search. Anyone remember?

He's been wrong on just about everything.

He even said Fisher was Miamis coach.

Say La Canfora is right and we trade Jordan, Wake and Wallace. How in the world would the team be better off for it?

Just for a OT

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I don't think it would be a terrible move. But only for AT LEAST an early 2nd rounder. Yes, it sucks to think that you're giving up on an early 1st rounder from only a year ago. However, the team has a lot of holes to fill that are more important than a backup DE playing out of position. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the thought of Dion turning into what we hope he will. But, when we drafted him we were expecting him to be a starter. I don't think anyone expected the production we got from Vernon. I would love it if he stayed with us, but at the same time, if Hickey can draft better than Ireland, I have to believe that an additional 1st or 2nd round pick would give us more value than Jordan would

Who broke Peyton Manning had already signed the Fins contract and was on the practice field with WR's?

Also in this scenario, what sense would it make to bring back Grimes? not much

Hickey just went on the Joe Rose Show THIS MORNING and emphasized that they want to WIN NOW. How on Earth could trading 2 of your top pass rushers POSSIBLY accomplish that? This story is pure trash. No way I believe it.

BUT IF this were to happen, get HickBin the EFF out of town!

FWIW, Jordan would cost WAY TOO much to trade. However, I can see a far fetched situation where Miami could trade up for a stud LT. This would be a trade off on signing one in FA. Again, it is far fetched at best.

However, Jordan is a JT type of player, who based on cover and pass rush, should be in some type of a 3-4. Coaches wanted him but, if you add 20 pounds to make him a DE, I think you are destroying his talent and value.

Coyle should wake up and deal with what he has to work with. JMO

JLC.....throwing more **** around than monkeys at the zoo.

Why would Miami trade the only half decent WR they have? Unless they plan on drafting Watkins there's no point in trading Wallace.
