It's difficult (apparently) for some people to understand that maybe, just maybe the DC doesn't feel comfortable with the 3-4 and wants to run the 4-3. All we have is Odrick and maybe Francis. Who are you lining up at ILB next to Ellerbe? Wheeler...heck no...Misi? Look at the big picture people. You don't switch defenses just for Jordan. Jordan needs to bulk up to about 270 and learn to play with his hand in the dirt from the DE position.

Problem with that is they cannot divulge that information if I'm not mistaken but all this is a bunch of garbage to generate hits to cbs sports

His signing bonus was $15.5m and his base salary is $1.7m over the 4 years ($405, $495, $585, $675) which was all guaranteed. He also has a roster bonus of $845k in 2014, $1.69m in 2015, and $2.53m in 2016 which a new team would eat.

So if Miami traded him before the end of camp my understanding is the hit for this year would be $10m correct (the remainder of his bonus for the next three years)? My mistake earlier was adding in his roster bonuses which the other team would have to eat as those aren't guaranteed.

If that is the case Miami takes a $10m hit, but saves a little over $5m. I don’t know, not sure I like that, would rather see the guys on the field to see what he can do…Heck he can’t be any worse at setting the edge than Vernon was last year.
 
So rotoworld says we can get a 2nd round pick for Jordan......wow....if that's all we can get for him then Ireland really messed up this team for a long time. Not to menion the cap hit we'd take. The fact is that moving up for Jordan was a mistake. He's out of position. His best position would be OLB on a 3-4 which we don't use. If he get bigger and stronger then he could be a DE on a 4-3 but how long will it take him to do that. When you move up to pick a guy at 3, he should be starting from day one. Having said that, I'd not trade him for less than a 1st. And if we were to switch to a 3-4 now, we'd then have to make several moves to make the switch. Not as easy as it seems.Just another brilliant move by Ireland.

maybe hickey can see what ive mumbled under my breath since the first time i watched jordan in a phins uni, this guy freaking sucks!!! please trade this guy hickey, cause hes gonna turn out to be the biggest bust in team history. talk about being used properly all you want, this guy is a combine specialty, all 40 times and jumping abilities and zero results on the field!

its allfinsallday coming up with excuses all day. let me guess he needs 3 years to develop and he hasnt been used properly. youre so predictable it hilarious. the guy showed ZERO pass rushing moves last year and pretty much zero pass rush. now tell me how im wrong and he got a pressure against baltiomore and atlanta and two hand touched andrew luck...
