Not to hurt anybody's feelings here but us wanting permision doesn't mean all of those guys wants the job. Not saying they don't want it but we can ask for permision to talk to anyone. What 'd like to know(and w might never know the thruth)is who actually wants the job? People can say what they want but I'm sure as leat a few people would not want it just based on how Ross is setting things up by having Aponte and Philbin already in place.

This is a fair concern, but in the case of Gamble where we blitzed the media that he was the top candidate and then DIDN'T ask permission my suspicion is you only ask if you have a reasonable understanding that the person will accept the interview.
