The Oracle
Sure. That's the ENTIRE premise behind Hard Knocks, and we know where that is headed.

You're putting the cart in front of the horse.
The REASON we didn't see Chad play last year is because he is too stupid to learn the playbook.
The problem is not learning the playbook so to say. The problem is the same one that C Gates is having. In the better passing offenses like the Patriots, Packer's and whatever team P Manning is playing for, the WR will adjust what route he runs on what the defense is doing. On this, the WR needs to think 100% like the QB is thinking.
In other words, if the WR was set to run a square out but since the corner is defending that, both the WR have to be able to change to let's make it simple, a square in. The QB, seeing the same thing and thinking the same way, also is ready for a square in instead of a square out. This is why Welker etc seems to always get open, he is adjusting what route he runs after seeing the defense and Brady sees what Welker sees and they are both on the same page. Both A Rodgers in their WCO and P Manning are well know for doing the same. This is why P Manning wants to work so much with his WRs, he needs the to be 100% with him on every play.
Now of course the defenses know this and they try to hide what they are doing so it is a constant mental battle between the two groups.
Right now we have a draft pick from last season, C Gates having problems learning this type of passing game. One reason we traded B Marshall because he does not fit this type of passing game. We already know that Chad Johnson cannot learn this type of passing offense yet we are bringing him in for a workout....
