Clayton said on ESPN that JAX has offered LA 11 mill in guaranteed money and miami has offered him 5 a year and he expects things to get done after easter

Six mil a year difference huh? THAT is pretty significant.

i think he needs to sign b4 the draft he wants to make as much money as possible he just has to realize he's not gonna get what he wants and pick which team has the best chance to win a super bowl not who offers the most money

no they are giving him 11 mil if he signs
we are goving him 5 mil a year if he signs
they havent gone through what he will be paid a year

I dont get it.

They have offered him 11 Million Dollar signing bonus but it is unknown what his base salaries would be, and we have offered him 5 million dollars per year, but we dont know the signing bonus?

whats not to get Jax offered him 11 million guaranteed money...we offered him 5 million a year salary...not including signing bonus...jax offer just isnt broken down

5 mil a year isn't that far off what he's asking for. If i remember correctly he was asking for 6 a year.

That is still a lot of money were putting into him. Nick might be breaking the bank for this one! I don't mind him doing this as long as Arrington delivers!

yea. they said last week that miami and LA are 2.5 mill apart from an agreement but what strikes me to be odd is why he hasn't taken the 11 mill in guaranteed money from jax when he is askin for more then 10 in guaranteed. clearly shows where his interest is in and thats miami

The longer this thing drags out, the better it looks for the Dolphins. I think if all things were equal, he'd already be signed here. The fact that he hasn't gotten an offer that he can't refuse from another team shows that our "decent $" and good situation has some pull with him.

Yeah right, your gonna tell me you could earn 5 million to play for a team or make 11 million to play for another team you are gonna play for the 5 million jus because in YOUR opinion they may have a better chance to make a SB??
Last time I checked the JAGs made the playoffs last year and we didn't. Even if we were a lock, which we surely are not, to make a SB 6 million difference is a BIG difference. If those numbers are correct, I would question his intelligence if he signed with us.

Agreed....Nick must really see something in him that he likes, many people on here were not high on Arrington.
