I think LaVar is just waiting for us to up our ante a little bit more. I believe the JAGS are offering a SB of 11 mil but just around 3 or 4 mil a year which is not what he is seeking. Fins are supposedly around 5 mil a year so if we just up that a bit and make a decent signing bonus then I would say we have a great shot at signing him.

Frankly do you guys have a clue as to what salaries usually are for top NFL players? This isn't 1995, 5m for Lavar is A STEAL...

I mean Witherspoon is making 6m a year almost so what's so surprising. 5m isn't breaking the bank....

I agree but I think he wants around 7mill a year..As much as I like manny lawson I really really really want lavar to sign with us.Gives up the option to take BPA.and if he can stay healthy will make our D that much better..
